Perfect solution for adding an outlet where typical installation would be impossible. Well made and of course, Levition, a well known and long time brand! Well Recommended.....

L'article est tel que décrit. Notez que les ouvertures pour le câble sont uniquement sur le côté long. Comme je voulais l'installer tout en cachant le câble d'alimentation, j'ai du briser un morceau de la base. Le manufacturier pourrait facilement prévoir cet utilisation et mouler le produit de sorte qu'un morceau arrière puisse facilement être enlever pour y passer le câble.

This it’s a good quality product that you would expect from Leviton. It is ideal for under-cabinet use.It also can be used so the Roamex comes in from the bottom or top (with some reasonable care for top access). It is clearly designed to have the Roamex enter from the bottom so the ground wire does not pass over the neutral contacts. When used with the Roamex entering the bottom, you also can wrap the wire ends clockwise over the screw terminals, as they should be done. However, I preferred to have the Roamex enter from the top for my placement and was pleased that the case was symmetrical to accommodate both orientations. To use in this orientation, you should isolate your ground wire from the neutral wire and terminals and know that you will need to wrap your wires counterclockwise for the ground and neutral, which isn’t ideal. But it can be a safe and tight install if you take care. I isolated my ground with heat-shrink tubing (pictured) and then covered the neutral terminals with electrical tape as well. This worked fine and satisfied my OCD orientation of the outlet.Screws to affix to surface are not included. Also, you will see I used 12/2 (yellow) Roamex which is rated up to 20amps and this is a 15amp outlet. In general, you should be using white Roamex that is 14/2 with this 15amp outlet and it should be on a 15amp breaker circuit. However, I used wire I had around and am using the outlet only for a drill battery charger so I was unconcerned.

Worked great to rewire my vintage sewing machine. The size was perfect. Needed the compact size to fit in a compact space. :)

Je l’ai placé après mon îlot de cuisine, petite et discrète. Je n’avais pas de place pour mettre une boîte électrique dans mon îlot à cause d’un tiroir celle-ci est vraiment génial. Je recommande
