I was looking forward to having this jellyfish lamp on my piano to help me relax a bit more but spent more time separating the fish than playing. The jellyfish would act as they should but after a few minutes they just seem to stick together at the top and not really do anything. There are 3 jellyfish, large, medium and small. The medium and small jellyfish would get stuck underneath the large one and most of the time had to use the metal rod to separate them, so in the end I removed the large one and the other 2 were ok. Possibly would have been better with maybe 4 small jellyfish instead. Some reviews say that it is glass but it's plastic, no manufacturers would make a lamp like this out of glass, especially when some would be used to entertain children. One thing that's not mentioned in the description is that you can have it permanently plugged into a usb socket or plug like the ones to recharge your phone so there will be no problem of it running out of power. In the end I was somewhat disappointed so I returned the lamp under Amazon's amazing and brilliant return policy, might try a larva lamp. Hope this information helps.

Ich hab die Jellyfish Lampe bei mir im Heimkino als Deko ausprobiert – einfach um ein bisschen beruhigendes Licht und Bewegung reinzubringen – und die Lichtstimmung ist wirklich toll! Die sieben Farben sehen super aus, gerade das sanfte Blau und der Musikmodus machen richtig was her, besonders wenn man die Lampe über Bluetooth koppelt und leise Hintergrundmusik laufen lässt. Die Steuerung über die Fernbedienung funktioniert einwandfrei und auch das Dimmen klappt wie versprochen. Was allerdings schade ist: bei mir hat die große Qualle einfach keinen Auftrieb – die bleibt unten liegen, während die kleinen sich schön durchs Wasser bewegen. Das schmälert leider ein bisschen den Effekt. Für die Deko am Abend ist die Lampe aber trotzdem ein Hingucker – am besten so aufstellen, dass man nur die schwebenden Quallen sieht 😅 Für Fans von Lava- oder Stimmungslichtern trotzdem eine Empfehlung, gerade im Wohnzimmer oder Kinderzimmer macht sie was her.
