Gerade bei längeren Beobachtungen oder bei Ferngläsern mit einer hohen Vergrößerung wird das Beobachten deutlich angenehmer, wenn man das Gewicht des Fernglases nicht ständig in den Händen halten muss. Und somit das Bild auch vibrationsfrei wird.
Die Fernglasklemme BC-01 ist eine leichte und kompakte Universallösung für alle Ferngläser mit einem Objektivtubusdurchmesser von 30-70 mm.
Sie kann auf allen Stativköpfen mit Arca-Swiss-Klemmung ganz schnell montiert werden. Auf der Unterseite der Klemme befinden sich zusätzlich 1/4" und 3/8"-Stativgewindebuchsen für alle nicht Arca-kompatiblen Stativköpfe, bzw. zur Verwendung mit einem Einbeinstativ.
Für die Metallteile verwendet Leofoto die hochwertige 6061-T6 Aluminium-Legierung mit Magnesium und Silizium als Legierungsbestandteile. Dieses korrosionsbeständige Material zeichnet sich durch hohe Festigkeit und gute Zähigkeit aus. Die Streckgrenze ist vergleichbar mit Baustahl. Alle Teile werden auf modernsten CNC-Maschinen aus dem vollen Material gefräst und sind dadurch deutlich stabiler als Gußteile. Auch hier macht Leofoto keine Kompromisse! This is a solid mount that is small enough for me to leave on my binoculars when storing them. I had a center mount, this is much faster and steadier- well worth the extra few dollars over the center mount that I have.

The aluminum parts are top notch.The problem is with setting the precise strap length and hence tension. The strap material used has no stretch whatsoever. When closing the clamp a lot of force is exercised on the strap squishing the binocular tube. I think the strap doesn't need to be rubber, maybe it could be a "dynamic" nylon webbing that has a bit of natural stretch (even 2-3 percent should help). Once closed the clamp geometrically relaxes the maximum pull a little, which means the closed strap is not holding as securely as the initial force would indicate. Adding some neoprene under the strap might help. Right now the mechanism relies purely on the rubber armor of the binos. Binos that do not use rubber (especially those made of polycarbonate) may get damaged.Overall it works with careful strap adjustment, but I keep being worried about damaging my binos.

I do not know about the claimed 30-70mm binocular diameter, but it fits perfectly the barrel of my Athlon Cronus G2 UHD 10x42 binoculars. I was a little worried about the alleged lack of flexibility in the belt. But I found no problem whatsoever. The rubber armor on the magnesium chassis in combination with the minimal amount of flex in the belt secures the binoculars perfectly. I do not have to apply any excessive force at all!It is miles better than the (flimsy) traditional adapters that have to be bolted to the binocular's bridge.I do like the flat support plates too, but this adapter from Leofoto is nicer.The only nitpick is that I would have liked a square QR plate. As it is slightly rectangular it fits in the QR clamp only in one direction. (Two, if you count 180 degree rotation as another direction.)
