The product is soft with a felt backing. It comes rolled up so you will need to lay it out for a bit to flatten it. Given how thin the material is the foil inside is even thinner. This makes it quite difficult to hone in on the right settings. Assume that a good portion of the patch will be used for testing. It is not as forgiving as other pleather patches. It does look nice when you hit the right settings, but this is an expensive material to sacrifice so much of it for testing. I have had better luck with other brands. Overall it looks nice when it works, but is too expensive and difficult to make it worth the effort.

This is totally cork?! No way this is leather, and the backing is just felt

Engraves nicely with the right settings. Adheres with heat and haven't had any peeling or separation once on.
