Grandson loved it for soccer equipment- shoes, uniform and soccer ball fits nicely. I like that shoes have separate compartment and there is inside pocket for snacks

My son wears a size 14 so yes, the foot area is a little tight. Meaning a regular size show should fit just fine. Perfect space. Fits a basketball easily in the compartment. Roomy for his change of clothes, water bottle cooler bag, and any accessories he may bring to practice.
