Paper wouldn't feed in correctly and didn't print. Had to return. Disappointing as it was a Christmas gift and it would have been fun for them to use.

I use to have a variation of Instax cameras, and one died on me (it was the first iteration so I wasn't shocked when it happened) and the other was in the wide format but the film was too pricey for my budget, so sadly I sold it. Anyway, fast forward to my new obsession once again. I visited my sister in law and her kids were gifted the instax cameras for Christmas. Shortly after I went in to a deep dive on the internet and I stumbled upon the Kodak Smile+. At first I wasn't sure, but honestly I knew it would be well used and appreciated so I jumped on it. I have no regrets! The film for it is affordable (if used in moderation, not like how my 4 year old would want to use it lol) and the pictures come out fairly decent for an instant camera. I like that I can print pictures from my phone and use an SD card with it (which I already have ordered). My only beef with it is that I have no way of knowing how many frames I have left, however if you take a picture and it runs out, quickly put in a new sleeve of paper and it will calibrate and shoot out the picture 😃 highly reccomend it. I may be getting my 4 year old her own (maybe the printomatic though) because sharing is fun, but there are times where I want it to myself 😂 highly reccomend for those who are on a budget but want in on the fun as well!*edit after one week of use*So... got the SD card, everything was going smoothly until suddenly the camera would get stuck in print mode! I contacted Kodak, they're really quick and responsive, but I was only told to reset it. Once I got home, I reset the camera, took the SD card out, and it was working again. No issue, but at the time I didn't put two and two together yet. I put the SD card back in after playing with it and seeing that it still was functional. I took my daughter to the park today and brought the little camera with me, and suddenly it's doing the same thing 🙃 so, I brought a little pin to reset it and every time I would reset it the darn thing would get stuck. Then it dawned on me to remove the SD card, and sure enough the camera was working again. I still really enjoy it, but I wanted a way to look at the pictures digitally afterwards. So Kodak advised me to contact Amazon for a return, which is what I'm doing. I'll probably get another one, but if it does the same thing I will update to let yall know lol
