Nach nicht einmal 1 Jahr ist dieses Schrotteil kaputt, während ein anderes Gerät, welches es leider nicht mehr zu kaufen gibt, nach 3 Jahren immer noch tadellos funktioniert.12V Motor an 5V USB? Das Produkt ist einfach Schrott.

Love this! Works extremely well on its own or in conjunction with a pad-style cooler. The temperature display lets me know when I need to up the rpm for increased cooling. It is very satisfying to watch the temperature drop once it's been activated. All of my laptops over the last few years have had heat issues that they weren't able to deal with. I wish I had this gadget earlier as it would have saved me some true heartache. It is a little noisy but I consider it a minor inconvenience and well worth keeping my laptop cool. The compact size makes it great for travel purposes...no need to lug a cooling pad around. You have to be a little more cautious when moving your laptop around but it beats having your laptop die from a warped motherboard.

It blow air out but not as advertise. I kept it because I had not time to return it. I would prefer to have a stronger one that really cool down the laptop and had better way to stay attached to the laptop on the move.I cannot advice to buy for people who need for professional or gaming.

The pins that should rest on top of the chassis can easily break off. That happened with one of mine within the first few days of use.Manual mode/speed 3 or 4 are sufficient while the noise is acceptable.I switched off the GPU and ony use integrated graphics.My laptop is 12 years old and the CPU uses about 45W. At the time, I bought it as a powerful desktop replacement.A few extra tips for older laptops: open it and remove most dust with a non-static brush, a compressor or a spray can with compressed air.Remove old thermal paste and apply new one between heat pipes and CPU and GPU.Your old laptop fan could make irregular rattling noises. The KLIM fan also can make quite some noise, but at least it is regular, so your brain learns to ignore it. Choose a setting so the KLIM fan does most of the work and your internal laptop fan hardly ever needs to kick in.

Ich habe diesen Lüfter zur Kühlung meines HP Laptops gekauft.Ich habe Probleme beim Anbringen des Lüfters am Laptop, da die Silikondichtung fest gegen den Auslass "Laptop-Lüfter" gedrückt werden muss. Die Befestigungen des Lüfters selbst können prinzipiell nicht passgenau am Laptop sitzen, ebenso wenig wie die Silikondichtung und der kleinste Spalt zwischen der Silikondichtung und den Auslassschlitzen des Laptops macht dessen Funktion zunichte. Als ich mit meinen Händen auf den Lüfter drückte, beobachtete ich eine deutlichere Abkühlung des Prozessors und nur bei den höchsten Lüftergeschwindigkeiten. Gleichzeitig war das Geräusch der durch die Lüfterschlitze entweichenden Luft mit einer Frequenz von 3 bis 6 KHz so stark, dass ich mich nach 15 Minuten Arbeit nicht mehr auf meine Arbeit konzentrieren konnte. Und das liegt nicht an den Silikondichtungen selbst, da ich den Geräuschpegel dieses Lüfters ohne Silikonpads gemessen habe und dieses Geräusch bei den von mir angegebenen Frequenzen 70 dB erreichte, was in 40 cm Entfernung vom Computer einfach unerträglich war!.Schade, dass die Entwickler das Lüftergeräusch nicht in der Geräuschkammer getestet haben und mittlerweile sind genügend gute CAD-Tools vorhanden , um die Lautstärke und Stärke des durch die Lüftergitter austretenden Luftstroms zu berechnen, der für die Geräuschentwicklung verantwortlich ist! Das Luft strömt durch Gehäuseschlitze des Lüfters, da moderne Computerlüfter von alleine fast geräuschlos sind. Gute Idee, aber in der Praxis schlecht umgesetzt, daher nicht mehr als 3 Sterne!

I was on the hunt for some kind of cooling pad for my gaming laptop that kept throttling during gaming due to heat. Some times to the point where games would become unplayable until I shut them down and let it cool off. I just happened to see this different looking thing in one of the web pages I was reading reviews on. It immediately caught my attention because of its size and the very reasonable price.Pros:- very affordable for the amount of cooling you get- compact size- very quiet - quieter than the fan on my actual laptop when in use!- "Automatic" mode that regulates the speed based on detected temperatures- very adaptable with all it's different attachments- measured decrease in laptop temps using HWMonitor- super great and responsive service from actual people!!Neutral- This is nothing the fault of the device, but of my lack of awareness of sizes. It covers up one of the USB ports on my laptop. I'm just adding this for other in case they too forget to look for such things.Notes: The first one I received was louder than I expected, but I wasn't too concerned. Until it started really resonating and vibrating. There was clearly something loose inside as it would have a slight rattle when shaken. I suspect it was something from the shipping and handling part of the purchase. I reached out to support and they were very thorough and gracious in replacing it after giving me very thoughtful suggestions to try to fix it first.When the new one arrived I was astounded by just how quiet it was. It's a great little device.

A few years ago I bought a nice gaming laptop. For the first time in my life I was turning graphics UP, rather than cranking them all the way down so they would be playable. Over the years, the laptop began slowing down... frame-rate drops at first, and finally games would slow down so much that they were completely unplayable.Since my laptop was getting hotter than the surface of the sun, I suspected heat was to blame. I bought all kinds of products - a lap desk with fans, I made sure the fans were dusted out and working, the works. I downloaded software which would allow me to throttle certain functions of the laptop to reduce heat... but then it was a race between how much the software was throttling my laptop and how much the heat was causing it to throttle itself. There were some games I gave up playing entirely, simply because they played so slow it wasn't worth it.One day, I happened to see the Klim Tempest on Amazon. Very cheap - only $30, and claimed to be universal fit. I figured, what the heck.. let's try it.And now, my laptop runs... almost like new.The Klim Tempest is a miracle device. Rather than lap desks which simply blow little puffs of air at the bottom of your PC, the Klim Tempest attaches to the exhaust ports of your laptop and literally SUCKS the hot air out and shoots it out the back. I have no clue where the less than exemplary reviews I see are getting their experiences - some say the fan isn't very powerful? Maybe you're just installing or using it wrong? When I hook up my Tempest, I can put my hand over the back of it and feel it jetting out hot air.Games that used to heat my PC up to the point that I almost couldn't touch the metal surfaces... now my laptop maintains temperature and performs as it should. No more burning hot laptop.. just high-end performance. I can once again play my favorite games - games that would overheat and slow my laptop to a crawl within minutes.The Klim is quiet and powerful. You can hear it spool up when the laptop is heating up, but trust me, if you're playing games, the sound effects will WELL overpower the sound of the Tempest - you won't hear it. You'll forget it's there.The mounting mechanism is a bit awkward. I have to be honest, I wish there were a better hook-up.. but the designers were trying to make it as universal as possible, and on that front I feel they did a good job. It might take you a few minutes or a few tries to find out what works best for you, but I've found a way of setting it up where it doesn't slip off all the time, so I'm good. Maybe in the future there will be better mounting mechanisms. Four stars out of five for being a good balance between working and usable on all laptops.It functions EXACTLY as it should. You can download software to monitor your laptop's heat level, and download software to run a stress test - give it a try: hook up the Klim Tempest CORRECTLY, (meaning make sure the seal gaskets are closing off that exhaust port and the hot air will be going exclusively into the Tempest), run a stress test to build up heat, and watch the little device work its magic.I could not be more impressed. If you find your laptop getting extremely hot and performance degrading significantly, THIS DEVICE MAY BE THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS. I can't guarantee that (you might have other issues) But for $30 how can you go wrong!? I can FINALLY play my games again, so I'm so happy.I sent the designers a kind note to let them know how much I appreciate it. They wrote back thrilled to hear that I was happy, and were even asking what kind of games I play - these are people who are not only developing an amazing product, but care about their customers.100% satisfied, would have paid twice or three times the price for the difference it has made. Absolutely amazing and so glad I gave it a try.

Das Gerät hat eine sehr starke Leistung. Allerdings ist mir aufgefallen, dass sich die entsprechenden Notebookkomponenten und v.a die Tastaturoberfläche durch den Einsatz des Kühlers mehr erwärmen als sonst. Deshalb nutze ich den Kühler mehr als „Tastaturventilator“, da ich mit einem Controller zocke kein Problem, und siehe da, das Notebook wird überhaupt nicht mehr heiss und eine Leistungssteigerung in puncto game performance konnte auch verzeichnet werden. Ich kann das Produkt mehr als empfehlen.

Ho acquistato questa Ventola esterna per cercare di diminuire la temperatura del mio Acer Nitro 5 (RTX 2060, i7 10th) che raggiungeva durante quest'estate temperature sui 95°C di CPU e 85-90°C di GPU (con conseguenti cali catastrofici di frame rate. Provando questa ventola esterna infatti le temperature calano di una media di 8-10°C (CPU) e pochi gradi sulla GPU che sono adeguati per mantenere il PC in uno stato in cui la performance non perde di qualità. Super consiglio questo prodotto della KLIM e consiglio personale anche di acquistare una base di raffreddamento su cui appoggiarci il portatile e accoppiare l'utilizzo di questa con la ventola esterna (le temperature scendono pure sui 15°C in questo modo)PRO:- rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo- diminuzione della temperatura effettiva- ventola solida e con un design elegante- facile da trasportare in giroCONTRO:- adesione della ventola al PC efficace solo se si utilizza l'adesivo 3M fornito nella scatola- assenza di gancetti più efficaci- leggero rumore, nulla di fastidioso se si utilizzano delle cuffie nel corso del proprio svago/lavoro

Ich habe mich nach einem Kühler für mein Gaming Notebook angeschaut und bin hierbei auf das Klim Tempest gestoßen.Der Kühler kommt in einer schlichten Verpackung daher, im Lieferumfang enthalten ist neben dem Lüfter, ein Anschlusskabel, Sticker, Quick-Start-Guide und diverse Befestigungsmöglichkeiten.Der Lüfter wird entweder an die Seite des Lüfter befestigt, die die warme Luft rausbläst, hierbei kann man zwischen einer Platte mit Saugnäpfen oder einer mit Klebestreifen entscheiden.Der Lüfter selber hat eine Temperaturanzeige sowie zwei Knöpfe zum runter und hochregeln des Lüfters.Hierbei kann der Lüfter laut werden, was an sich nicht schlimm ist, da man eh mit einem Headset spielt.Hierbei kühlte dieser ziemlich gut, sodass meine Temperatur auf 5 Grad runtergegangen ist.Man kann diesen z.B. auch als portablen Kühler im Sommer benutzen, wenn man eine Powerbank hat.Ich bin zufrieden mit der Leistung und werde diesen auch im Sommer benutzen.
