Mi KA estaba haciendo unos ruidos chirriantes en las velocidades altas. Además se saltaba de STIRR a la vel.4. Despues de ver varios videos de Youtube, cambie la placa de velocidades y el governador de velocidades. Aunque no se veia quebrado, ni maltratado, cuando lo cambie fue justo lo que necesitaba.

Balances fell off old governor. Decided to purchase a new complete governor instead of replacing just the balances. New governor fit like it was supposed to and with instructions from YouTube installation was easy.

One of the flyweights had broken off my old governor making it very difficult to correctly calibrate the speed and leading to erratic speed control. The replacement was simple. The old governor had a stainless steel sphere set in the end where it contacts the speed control plate, whereas the replacement just has a copper dimple. However this rests against a teflon plate so I expect it will last as long. My motor now runs at the exact correct speed across the entire range.
