This saved my life when a UPS failed and I needed something to tide us over until a replacement could arrive.Haven't needed to test the trip switch, so can't say if it's worth it for that but otherwise stick it in a drawer and wait for the day.

These are super-handy to bung up next to a rack of synths or other gear that uses kettle leads. Maybe a stack of kettles?

this looks well made and I intend to use it for multiple hifi units as it takes up far less room than some multiple sockets
