I wanted to add a switch plate to my Yamaha Rhino and used these around the parameter of the dash to mount the plate to. Used stainless cap head screws to go with this. I would purchase again.

These nuts ended up being a gigantic headache. Let me explain.Normal steel riv-nuts once set with a hand tool squish in a uniform fashion leaving you with an extremely tight seal against your surface for a good, permanent bond. Now, I've installed plenty of Steel and Aluminum riv-nuts into cars and have never had a single issue with them crimping incorrectly or seating incorrectly. These stainless riv-nuts have a tendency to choose what direction they want to squish down in. On my 3rd riv-nut my M4 mandrel threaded into one of the stainless nuts and basically ruined any plans of me getting any progress done on my car this weekend.I'm giving 3 stars because I'm certain that if you can manage to install these correctly they'll work perfect. But I can't leave 5 stars because I'm sure a majority of Amazon customers buying these are DIY'ers like myself using hand tools and not $300 pneumatic rivet guns. I couldn't even get them to sit right with the nut and bolt method.See picture for reference

So, far I have not had any problems using this product. I have installed six of these Rivet Nuts on a commercial bus dash panel so far the product is performing great.

Everyone could learn about quality service from these folks. Good product is important - and they have it -but so is service.
