This bag lasted me only two months before the cheap hardware wore out. The clasp connecting the front and back of the bag broke, so I can no longer use the metal closure to secure my items, making the bag essentially useless. To make matters worse, it broke while I was on a work trip, which was especially inconvenient.

I got this for work and was actually shocked by the quality. It’s a dupe for a more expensive leather bag that I see all the time. I would say it is holding up well after a couple of months. I like that I can carry it like a bag or wear like a backpack. I think I used a coupon code and ended up paying like 60 bucks, which I think is what this bag is worth. It can fit my full size laptop in the sleeve with my notebooks and wallet in the main compartment. I also use it as a diaper bag on the weekends and it’s a good size for some diapers and wipes. I throw it around a lot and it doesn’t seem to be scratching easily.

This is a very nice handbag but it’s not quite as firm as what I think of when I hold a good top grain European leather bag which must be marked as such when made in Europe. The company’s site reads they are styled after European bags but it looks like they are made in China. The hardware is not as nice and as heavy as what you would find on a European bag, but then the price is more economical. I’m also surprised there are no protective rivets or “feet” on the bottom of the bag. I find the bag’s straps may be far too thin and not proportionately heavy enough to support the weight of the bag over time. I used to be an assistant buyer in a handbag department in a large department store years ago, so I may be more critical than most people when I look at the construction of a bag. I do think it’s economical enough to provide a bag that’s not only functional but fashionable.

This backpack/purse is real leather. The leather grain is clean and free of imperfections. The leather is supple where it should be and has reinforcement where necessary for structure. The leather pieces are cut to precision and not sloppy. The stitching is uniform and free of imperfections. This is a quality made bag.This bag is marketed as a backpack. It should work well in this capacity. However, It doesn't have padding for a laptop and the straps are thin leather and with enough weight will be uncomfortable. For light use backpack with some style this is a good pickup.The person I ordered this for really would have preferred to have gotten the black version as ordered and not the tan version Vine sent. But things like this happen with the Vine program. I doubt it will happen on a purchase and if it does you can return for the correct color.

I expected a lot more from this bag for $100. The materials are cheap (the leather feels papery and creasy, and the hardware is like plastic) and the shape/size is kind of wild for an adult everyday bag, it's not only wide, it's very tall and deep. Also, the laptop sleeve doesn't fit my 12.9" ipad, it's .5-1" too small, even though the rest of the bag is massive. Odd and disappointing.The one pro is that it has a massive capacity, you could fit an entire autumn sweater in it, but that's tainted by the fact it has little organization. There's the "laptop sleeve" and then two pockets on the outside of that. The rest of the inside of the bag is an empty cavern. I could see the design working well for textbooks and notebooks, but then the straps would be uncomfortable, and I wouldn't trust the materials to hold that kind of weight.This design might work well for some, but I can't see it.
