I’ve paired this sub with the Kanto Ora 4’s and initially was not impressed by the sub. The sub tries to play frequencies outside of its range which is very audible. Moving the sub from left to right, to a corner, facing different directions. None of it seemed to help. I could alway tell where the sub was located. I was contemplating on returning the sub. I decided to give it one more try. Did the famous “subwoofer crawl” and settled on a spot at the opposite end of the room. This made all the difference in the world!I can no longer determine where the sub is located. The bass is just there and appears to be coming from the Ora’s.So, the sub is good but it requires some attention for a good set up and integration.

Good match for Kanto Ora speakers. I was looking for the smaller SUB6 but Kanto said it is not in production. I has same frequency output but 2/3 power.. I have to live with the larger size.

Didn't sound good. Had to turn the crossover way down to 40Hz and Level setting to max 10% of the volume, just not to get distorted sound. This makes the sound of the Kanto ORA's actually worse, because it leaves a gap between 40-100Hz. Doesn't at oemphh at all. At the best settings it wasn't noticable that a sub was playing with, so no benefits (No higher SPL, no wider soundstage, no deeper bass)

This is my second Kanto powered Sub, and I'm just as impressed as i was when i bought my 1st one years ago. This time around i went bigger, 8" and wow, the sound is super clear with beautifully deep bass. It's no secret Kanto makes excellent speakers, and this sub is no exception. A front firing sub is ideal for my small condo, its also the perfect size. and built small so its not big and clunky looking. and speaking of looks, This Sub also looks great, modern yet classic styling. Aside from the esthetics, the sound quality and build quality is excellent, super high quality build on this speaker, I'm incredibly happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend Kanto.

I have the kanto yu6s as home theatre and once you add this for medium size lounge . You will not be disappointed. Hit different as it is a sealed sub . But definitiv for someone who like more clean, refined and super responsive bass. And even for music listeners . This is a good companion for people needing a entry level audio file sounds .

Passen zu meinen Kanto YU2 habe ich mir diesen Subwoofer zugelegt und ich muss sagen, es hat sich gelohnt. Der ohnehin bereits gute Sound der Lautsprecher wird durch den Soubwoofer voluminöser und eröffnet ein viel weiteres Spektrum. Jegliche Musik mach richtig Laune zu hören. Vorher habe ich gezielt Musik im Wohnzimmer mit meiner SONOS Anlage gehört. Seitdem ich diese Kombi habe, höre ich sehr viel öfter Musik in meinem Arbeitszimmer. Kleiner Tipp: Ich habe für die Lautsprecher, sowie den Lautsprecher eine Stromleiste mit Fußschalter gekauft und dort angeschloßen, somit kann man beides schnell an- und ausschalten. Ein Brummen im Leerlauf oder Ähnliches kann ich übrigens nicht hören und ich bin da sehr empfindlich.

Ich habe mir den Kanto Sub8 als Ergänzung zu meinen Kanto Yu2 Lautsprechern für mein Büro gekauft. Er ist sehr gut verarbeitet und schnell angeschlossen. Die matte Oberfläche gefällt mir sehr gut. Kanto empfiehlt auf der Website eine Crossover-Frequenz von 80 Hz in Kombination mit den Lautsprechern. Auf der Rückseite befindet sich auch ein Regler für die Lautstärke des Subwoofers. Er kann sich auch automatisch abschalten, wenn kein Ton mehr kommt, das funktioniert sehr gut. Für mein Büro ist der Subwoofer perfekt und ergänzt die anderen Lautsprecher, denen es immer etwas an Bass fehlte, super. Im Wohnzimmer könnte er sicher auch seinen Platz finden, der Klang ist ordentlich! Ab einer gewissen Raumgröße sollte man dann aber zu einem größeren Modell greifen. Für den Preis bin ich von dem Subwoofer von Kanto sehr positiv überrascht und kann ihn auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
