(Deutscher Text unten)English version:review for the Kalea-Informatique PCIe USB 3.0 controllerThe card features an implementation of the NEC/Renesas µPD720201 USB 3.0 controller which was made in China.The cards label also stated that is was soldered in the PRC.+ so far it seems to work with USB devices without troubles (unlike some older ASMedia Chips or VIA VLI805/806 chips)+ works with Linux+ PCIe-powered, no extra Molex/SATA-Power required+ two USB 19 pin headers (interal connectors)+ comes both with a normal and a low profile bracket+ no unnecessary packaging- there seems to be hardly any firmware update support, one might find FW and W32 bases flashing utilities for the chip on semi-obscure websites- the build quality could be better (see photo)parts of the pin header's housing come off easily, even if you are very careful to remove a plugged in cableOf course, cable's should not have loose contacts, but this one is too stiff and tight. Eine klasse USB ErweitungskarteHabe dadurch 2 weitere interne USB Headerwird nach Einbau autömatisch erkannt keine Treiberinstallation nötigklare Empfehlung von mir

Die USB-Karte entspricht den Anforderungen. Was ich zuerst toll fand,waren die beiden internen USB Anschlüsse .Aber was ich leider übersehen hatte, das die Steckkarte keine zwei USB Buchsen im Slot hatte für externe Geräte.Ich weiss aber nicht genau ob es solche USB Steckkarten mit zwei internen und zwei externen Anschlüssen zu finden sind.Also,man sollte sich;als nicht Fachmann; die Bildbeschreibung und den Text dazu genauer anschauen. War eben ein Fehler von mir.Sonst ist das Teil OK ,es macht das wofür es gebaut wurde.

Mit dieser Karte kann man sehr gut den internen Motherboard USB 3 Anschluß ersetzen.Von Win 10 wurde die Karte problemlos erkannt.Ich hatte bei meinem Motherboard zunächst 1 internen Anschluß vom Board und 1 Anschluß von der Karte verwendet. Das funktionierte.Jetzt habe ich bei meinem Motherboard USB 3 Ausgang eine USB Mouse und eine Externe HDD gleichzeitig angeschlossen. Während des arbeitens blieb der Mousezeiger sehr oft hängen, was ich mir nicht erklären konnte.Daraufhin habe ich auch den 2. Ausgang der Karte verwendet und Tadaaa... der Mousezeiger bleibt nicht mehr hängen.Auch die Übertragungsrate bei einer HDD ist mit ca. 105 mb/s genauso hoch wie an einem normalen USB 3 Anschluß.Fazit: Ich würde mir diese Karte auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen

Stecker lassen sich extrem schwer einstecken, Plastikteil der Buchsen reißt ab, wenn man die USB Kabel wieder rausziehen will.

Die Steckkarte hat mein Mainboard um 2 USB 3.0 Anschlüsse erweitert, wodurch ich nun alle USB Anschlüsse meines PC-Gehäuses nutzen kann. Die Installation war leicht und ging schnell.Die Karte funktioniert zuverlässig und bleibt auch unter Last recht kühl.

Had this about a week now just got round to testing it as i have not been well.DELIVERYON MY TRACKING IT SAYS IT WAS HANDED TO THE RESIDENT AND MY NAME NO IT WAS NOT THE GATE OPENED IT WASPOSTED THROUGH THE LETTER BOX I SAW HIM COME AND GO. IT SHOULD SAY PUT THROUGH THE LETTER BOX AS IT WASNOT HANDED TO ME AND IT ARRIVED LATER THAN STATEDPROBLEMSOne of the 19 pin connectors snapped off the board the 1st time unplugging it testing if it worksand the main nec chip looks to have been reworked and not cleaned very well as you can see the flux residuesee the picturesCheep as cheep getsfile called win64.bat on driver CD what you do no need.
