Im Grunde Preis/Leistung angemessen fur6 die Menge an Verschraubungen. Dennoch sind 3 Stück dabei gewesen wo sich das Gewinde durchdreht. Ebenso 2 weitere mit unsauberem Gewinde. Die anderen sind ok.

Verschraubungen wurden im Garten eingesetzt. Nach einigen Monaten waren die Lüsterklemmen innen vergammelt und ich hatte ständig Kurzschlüsse, also wieder alles zurück gebaut

Artikel ist so wie beschrieben, bisher habe ich zwar nur die kleinen Verschraubungen (PG 7) verbaut . Aber alle Größen sehen soweit gut verarbeitet aus.

These cable glands arrived packed in a plastic bag inside a sturdy cardboard box.I have a collection of the light grey type glands but I needed some black ones for specific projects (black outdoor cable junction box and car wiring).I usually get my cable glands from the local trade warehouse but these are better because they’re supplied with a rubber sealing washer for the box entry (the others aren’t).It’s really handy to have selection of sizes of these to hand for all of those wiring jobs that require a waterproof connection. I’ve only used six so far. Four for the cables entering the black weatherproof junction box and two to run wires from inside the car to a couple of external LED reversing lights. It’s now been a few weeks with some heavy rain and there’s no sign of water ingress in the box or around the cable holes in the car.The ones I buy from the local trade warehouse are £1 for two (50p each) so at £9.99 for 60 (under 17p each) these are outstanding value and I’m happy to recommend them and give them 5 stars.

I'm no electrician, but I am a tinkerer and have bodged many things in my time and am currently converting a panel van to a camper.The 'Cable Glands Mixed Set, Gorffy 60Pcs Locknut Stuffing Glands with Gaskets PG7 PG9 PG11 PG13.5 PG16 PG19 set of glands will probably suffice me for a lifetime.They appear to be well made with the rubber seal making good contact with the wires when tightened.For my uses this set is perfect and will save me ever having to buy the smaller and ultimately much more expensive individual packs.

My husband is going to fit some outside lights for me, and an extra outdoor socket. I got him these black cable glands, along with some white ones, as I didn't know what colour cable he would be using. They're always really handy to have in your workshop anyway, as you never know when you might need one. They give a professional and watertight seal, which is especially important when installing outside sockets and lighting.You get a good selection in the pack, with 6 different sizes. There are plenty of glands to choose from, to suit different cable sizes. They can be a bit difficult to distinguish the difference sizes by sight alone, but luckily each size is stamped onto the middle hexagonal nut of each gland, so that takes the guesswork out of size selection. The photo on the front of the box tells you exactly what size gland to use for which cable diameter, so make sure you store these in the original box.As you tighten them, you can see the clamp inside tightening around the cable, which is exactly what they should do. They seem well made, and are well worth keeping as spares for the odd occasion when you find yourself in need of one. The only negative I found with this brand is that when checking them, I noticed the top cap was missing from one of the smallest size. Despite this, these are still a really good price for the quantity and variety, so I would definitely recommend.

Plastic is ok and easy to grip with your hand or pliers. The grip on the inside is ok for cables that are just under the size of the opening but flat cables or cables more than a few cm’s smaller in diameter won’t grip and can pull through with little force. But for adding some sockets and light fitting to a shed or garage they will work perfectly with outdoor rated boxes.
