John Doe has time and time again impressed me with the quality of their gear. AND for tall people, they have 36" inseams!!! They are comfortable and look like a normal pair of jeans, with armor. I have 3 pairs of their pants, a couple of shirts, gloves etc. Highly recommended

Very nice looking and comfy, just like a regular pair of jeans. They are heavy, however, as the synthetic fiber woven in is very dense. Confusingly, the waist sizes are NOT in inches, the pair I received actually measuring 38-1/2" and stretching to 42½ for size 36, so you must look at their website and convert from centimeters for the real sizes. Doubled belt loops, also doubled up at sides and back (see photo) should keep a belt from ripping out and letting the pants slide down in a fall. Well placed CE level 1 perforated knee and hip pads already in place. Great product, but I hope I never test the AAA rating

Erste Lieferung erfolgte schnell, jedoch wurde die falsche Größe geliefert. Nach wenigen, sehr freundlichen Kontakten und kurzer Wartezeit (Hose war zunächst noch nicht verfügbar)erfolgte dann die Lieferung. Hose passt prima und entspricht vollauf der Beschreibung.

One thing I will say is size down slightly. I ordered the 33x30 and the waist is a bit large on me. The 31 would be better. The armor pockets in the knees provide enough movement to properly locate the armor to actually cover my knees instead of my shins. That is a problem with most riding jeans (not made for shorter riders. My only complaint is they typically don’t have any 30 length in stock.

I like these jeans a lot. The fit is great and they look like casual pants. I had a problem with my first pair of them: the inner knee armor pockets became disconnected from the fabric. I contacted seller, returned, and ordered a replacement. Same issue with the second pair. I ended up using liquid stitch to repair but it didn’t last the first wash.Seller offered twice to “send me a gift for the inconvenience”. I never received a gift either time.

Sitzt gut bei Grösse 34Im Lendenbereich sehr tief geschnitten. Mit Hosenträgern gleicht sich das ein wenig aus.

Die Hose passt sehr gut, die Protektoren sind gut verarbeitet und können angepasst werden.Kann ich guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

These are nicer than actual jeans. Been wearing them for a few months to work daily now, and they breathe almost as well as normal cotton jeans, while being crazy stretchy, AND AAA rated! That’s the highest rating for street pants! Honestly I don’t know how they do it. However, I am already getting some wear in the crotch after basically zero walking and only 600 miles of riding, so we’ll see how they hold up. But for now, they are phenomenal - very soft, and nobody can even tell they are armored. They are also fine for warm weather (I’ve used them up to 114 degrees), and they are also fine down to about 60 degrees at freeway speeds. Hasn’t gotten any colder yet so I can’t comment on winter temps.
