Joli et compact, l'enceinte Bluetooth Jabra Freeway, impressionne par sa qualité sonore. L'installation se fait en 5 minutes, sa forme design et discrète, lui permet de se fondre dans le décor. Le son est clair et puissant, et le Bluetooth fonctionne sans soucis. Au contraire d'autres systèmes bien visibles de l'extérieur, l'enceinte Freeway, de par son système de fixation sur le pare-soleil, est quasiment invisible de l'extérieur, à hauteur d'homme, ce qui est un bon point, pour tous ceux qui laissent leur véhicule garé en extérieur. Pas de tentation de vol car produit apparent.Autre bon point, la puissance sonore de l'engin. Si votre véhicule est bruyant, le son couvrira sans problème, les bruits parasites.

Funciona a la perfección, diseño bonito, sonido óptimo. Los acabados se ve de calidad.Es una pena que el sistema FM sólo tenga conexíón con la frecuencia 88,10 que es una frecuencia que en esta zona está ocupada. Por lo que no puedo usarlo enlazandolo con los alatavoces del coche mediante radio frecuencia. El único pero.

I've been a Jabra user in the past, so I was expecting another good product when I bought the Freeway. What I hadn't expected was how fantastic the product is!? The crystal clarity of sound whether when connected to the phone or when streaming through to the car's stereo over FM; the ease of connectivity & the fact that it seamlessly connects to 2 devices (genius!), the slick looks, voice commands, battery life between charges ... I could go on! All in all, a winning product from Jabra!

Zum Beweggrund:Als Nutzer von immer wechselnden Mietwagen ist eine Freisprecheinrichtung, die sich leicht installieren lässt, ein notwendiges Muss. Da die Mietwagen nicht verklebt werden sollten (Amaturenbrettbefestigungen) und auch keine Kabel durch den Innenraum verlegt werden können, kamen nur Geräte mit Bluetooth-Funkverbindungen in Frage. Hier ist die Auswahl noch überschaubar und so fiel die Wahl auf das neue Jabra Freeway.Zum Gerät:Der Jabra Freeway wird mit einer Metallklemme an der Sonnenblende des Fahrzeuges montiert.Nach dem ersten Einschalten erfolgt eine automatische Synchronisation mit dem eingeschalteten Mobiltelefon. Will man ein zweites Telefon koppeln, so ist dies durch einen Befehl "Pair new device" schnell erledigt. Das ist auch schon der erste und einzige Nachteil des Gerätes (bisher): Die Sprache ist standardmäßig auf Englisch eingestellt. Ein Update auf Deutsch erfolgt nur über das Internet, wozu man das Gerät mit dem PC koppeln muss. Ich lasse die Einstellung hingegen unverändert, da die englischen Begriffe selten benötigt werden.Wird man angerufen, so nennt das Geräte den Namen des Anrufers oder dessen Telefonnummer - wenn der Name nicht bekannt ist.Der Klang ist einwandfrei (drei Lautsprecher) und lässt sich über Wipptasten lauter und leiser schalten.Auch die Anrufer melden, dass der Klang ungestört sei. Durch eine Rauschunterdrückung (ein zweites Mikrofon misst den Außenlärm - der Lärm wird ausgefiltert) kommt auch bei Autobahnfahrten kein Verständigungsproblem auf.Ein weiteres - von mir nicht genutztes - Ausstattungsdetail ist die Möglichkeit, den Anruf via FM Transmitter auf das Radio zu schalten und so den Anrufer über das Bordlautsprechersystem zu hören. Allerdings kann diese Frequenz von jedem anderen in der Nähe befindlichen PKW-Radios empfangen werden, so dass der Anruf dann nicht mehr "persönlich" ist. Für Nutzer, die im Handy auch Musik gespeichert haben oder Navigationshinweise des SmartPhones über die Autolautsprecher hören wollen, eine interessante Idee.Das Gerät schaltet bei Abwesenheit des Autofahrers durch einen Bewegungssensor in den Stand By Modus. Erst beim Einsteigen wird über eine akustische Ansage mitgeteilt, dass das Gerät ab sofort auf Bereitschaft steht und wie viel Telefone gekoppelt sind.Der Akku hält bisher schon 2 Wochen durch - bei täglich etwas 30 Minuten Telefongespräch im Auto.Geladen wird das Gerät (das schon voll geladen ausgeliefert wird) vie USB Buchse am PC oder via mitgeliefertem Adapter im Fahrzeug an der 12V (Zigaretten-)Steckdose.Für mich eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

After my last Jabra sp5050, which I've had for over 2 years lost its ability to retain battery power I dediced to look for another handsfree bluetooth unit. To be honest, I was looking at other options away from Jabra as I had not been too impressed with the overall performance of the 5050.Post a lot of research, it came down to this unit and the Parrot offering. Whilst more expensive I really liked the fact that this unit is very slim in profile and that being black it does not stand out in the car once clipped to the visor.Being about €30 more expensive than other options I finally decided to take the plunge as these are usually 3 year purchases for me, so I figured €10 per year is really neither here or there...The Jabra Freeway has a very good construction with great quality finish. The speaker area is covered in cloth material and overall the product is understated and classy looking.I quickly updated the firmware to the latest - the product shipped with v1.4 and there is a v.1.6 available at the Jabra website ([...]) - the Freeway has voice help for setup and functions, which ships in English. The v.1.6 firmware update is also available for German. Firmware update is very simple via the micro-usb connection to your PC ( which is also how you charge the unit )As soon as you power the unit on, a set of voice commands takes you through the entire set-up which takes less than a minute.It paired with my iPhone immediately. Also, and this is a great feature for me - the Freeway supports two bluetooth connections simultaneously. So both my wife and I can have our iPhone's connected at the same time when we are in the car. Something that we could not do with the previous unit and was very frustrating.You can use voice commands for phone control, and via a built in FM transmitter - play your iPhone or other handy music through your car system. ( The latter is not a feature I personally use, but some might find it useful )Voice quality both ways has been very good. The standout feature for me is that when you exit the car and later return, by the time you have just opened up the door to get in, the Freeway is connected and you have a voice confirmation from it telling you just that - lightning fast !I was so impressed with the performance of this product, that I bought a second one to use in my home office as my desktop hands-free.It is connected permanently to my iMac and connected to both my office Gigaset which has bluetooth and naturally my iPhone. It actually looks fantastic on the desk too, and have found it great for this type of use also.A bit more expensive than other options available, but for me a great buy and worth it.
