Gurt top – Metallbeschläge schrott.Beim einarmigen Rudern ist der Beschlag schon bei 65kg abgerissen.Würde ich nicht mehr kaufen.Oder man macht gleich nen richtigen Karabiner dran.

Please note this is designed to accept "standard" 1" weight plates and not "olympic" 2" plates. I didn't notice that when ordering and as all my weights are "olympic" this wasn't ideal (entireley my fault though). The olympic weights will fit on but are obviously less stable (tending to slide to one side so not balancing as well). I've got round the issue by cutting a length from aplastic olympic/standard adaptor I had lying around to use as a spacer. This did make me think that the product could be easily and cheaply improved (i.e. be more versatile) by including a spacer like this.The pole for the weights is long enough for my use, but I think a serious lifter would want it longer to take more small weights rather than fewer wider ones (less cumbersome). The carbiner clip is of reasanable quality, and the strap/loop feels strong enough for purpose. It has a 180 degree twist in it and it is comfortable to grip/hold.This does work - I'd say it is fine for medium duty training (with "standard" 1" weights). With my home-made adaptor it is fine for my purposes, but if you are a more serious lifter you'll what something more that is more sturdy, and esigned for 2" plates.

This is a nice strong strap for attaching to a weight plate spindle or to other bits of exercise equipment.The strap is made of a heavy duty polyester webbing, with a softer fleece material stitched firmly onto the inner side of the strap. That helps to prevent chaffing when in use. There's a double metal attachment ring at the end, where you can attach the supplied carabiner.The carabiner feels nice and strong. It perhaps would've been nice to supply a couple of different sizes, to improve the versatility of the strap. For example, one designed to fit around kettle bells would've been useful.It's maybe a little expensive for what is essentially a polyester strap and a carabiner clip, but it's decently made and useful to keep in your workout kit.
