This ring is a great fit for my Canon 70-200mm L lens. it is made from sturdy metal and colored to match the lens almost perfectly. There is a marking to help keep the stand horizontally even as the ring is tightened around the lens body. Once the screw is tightened there is no movement of the lens inside the ring.

Feels sturdy, holds the lens well, no wear on the lens body as yet.Confirming that it fits on my Canon 200mm F2.8L which is often missed off the product description

Very sturdy material and the colour is almost the same as the lens 70-200 Canon. Works perfectly

I was really surprised how well this thing was built when it came. I was expecting it to be all plastic but it's fully metal and really strudy. I took it out to the Highlands of Scotland and I can report that it worked really well, even in high winds. Even my long exposure photos came out sharp. Highly recommended
