Ok so, as a Mother I always get very sceptical whenever I see a 'leakproof' water bottle because they very rarely are...or if they are at first then they aren't after long, which means I've spend a small fortune over the years between my son losing bottles or them needing recycled if they're leaking and not fit for purpose. I'm happy today that this bottle seems to be the exception...the triple locking mechanism is fantastic and really gives you peace of mind when carrying inside the main part of a rucksack etc. You can fill it up and chuck it in knowing that it won't burst opened or open accidentally. The outside has a 'soft touch' feeling frosted coating that makes it feel nice in the hand and makes it easier to grip when there's condensation from cold drinks. The carry ring is a nice touch as you can carry with your finger or add a carry lanyard etc. The plastic is extremely sturdy and durable, it's dishwasher safe which is a big bonus and it's extremely easy to use. My son guzzles water so he usually squashes bottles something terrible but there's no need with this one as it has a really good airflow system due to the air hole above the spout.Overall, fantastic item that I plan on buying more of and have already recommended to friends and family :)

I am so happy with this water bottle. I have the blue camo design and the bottle arrived quickly and well packaged. I gave the bottle a quick wash before use and the water tastes fresh and clean. The bottle feels sturdy and well made, with an easy drinking spout. I have had no spillages or leaks, the bottle works very well. I think it will be durable due to the good quality. I really like the lock feature which gives extra reassurance that it won’t leak in transit. It is still very easy to open and drink from, the mouthpiece feels very comfortable. In my opinion this product offers great value for money.

Great bottle for being on the go.It's still cylindrical etc, not as thin as those tall thermos bottles you see nowadays but as a normal water bottle it's definitely a bit thinner than what you usually get which makes it good for fitting into a water bottle slot on the backpack etc.The flip top is very nice and satisfying to use, does seem to work well and the lid closes with a nice click (My only concern with these kind of mechanism is durability so time will tell).The design is really nice (I got blue camo), its frosted with the design on it, but with measurements on the back and being transparent enough to see your water level. I do think due to the white rubbery lid it may be slightly easy to stain this, or even for it to yellow if not taken care of though.Overall however a great bottle that can recommend for the gym or travel.

This is a good water bottle that ticks a lot of the main boxes you’d want in one. Most importantly it seals very well with no signs of leakage when upside down and shaken vigorously. The cap is easy for even a kid to open one-handed needing just 1 click and I love how far back it flips so it doesn’t get in your way like many others.Style wise I think it looks great with its blue camo design (even the teenager in the family approves!) and at 500ml it holds a good amount of water to help keep me topped up. Despite being plastic it also feels durable enough, although this means it doesn’t do much to help keep my water cool. Cleaning it is easy too as it can be put in the dishwasher with everything else.In terms of value for money it isn’t the best you’ll find as even ION8 offer stainless steel 600ml alternatives for a fraction more. However, it is still a solid option as a water bottle and one that I’m happy to recommend for general use.

Believe it or not, this is actually the FOURTH ION8 bottle I have ordered. The first two were children's bottles, then the third was a more feminine-style one ordered for a woman. As such I knew that the bottle would be well made first and foremost. The locking mechanism and in fact the whole top of the bottle is strong, good quality and efficient, just as I knew it would be.The size is good at half a litre (500ml). It walks the line nicely of being holdable and carriable without being too heavy when full. The bottle is a good shape to hold and the material is smooth and good in the hand. Perhaps the best feature of the bottle is the very secure locking mechanism, it is trusty yet easy enough to operate. I have great confidence that the bottle would stay securely closed in a bag/lunch box or similar.The design is perhaps more boyish or masculine than neutral. Of course these days you have to point out that anyone can use anything they want, including girls/women using blue or camouflage-style items. I would still say that this is designed more towards the male market than the female. I actually ordered this for myself and I am very pleased with it. I am pleased with my order and hey - now with four bottles I well & truly know from experience how trusty, reliable, secure and well-made they are regardless of whether the individual design is to your personal taste, the bottle itself will be a good one if it's from ION8. I know because I now have FOUR!!!!
