i bought this for my specailized saddle, a saddle which you dont use a thick pad with or it will ruin the fit, and it worked rather well with it. i rode my riding teachers halfinger with my saddle and this pad with a 32x32 navajo on top it worked well my saddle didn't move one inch while riding we trotted even did a little canter. i got a aussie bareback saddle (it has lexan plates along the spine and padding)and i hope that this will just as well with it. we will see. i'd another one in a heart beat.

This is an ok saddle pad. It isn't the best but does the trick. It does work but just is not high quality. If you do just a little riding it would work well.

This pad works very well for me. I am using it under the Cashel G2 softsaddle which benefits from a tacky pad to keep it from slipping forward and back. This pad works very well and so far, my horses don't seem to mind it. I normally use a fleece pad for them, beneath either a Wintec AP2000 or a Tucker Equitation Endurance. They both don't seem bothered by the tacky pad at all, and it sure works well with the G2 saddle.I like the blue color, and the pad is very thick, offering good padding since the G2 is not all that padded itself. I have a 16hh QH mare, more of a Thoroughbred build, and a Friesian/Percheron/Paint cross who has the sort of narrow slab sided body of the Friesian, but heavier, drafty legs and neck carriage of the Friesian and Percheron.

Its described as being plush, just spend the extra $10.00 and get the next size up. It is too thin for what I was looking for but used as a thin pad or as a pad liner and can be easily washed. Just okay in my book.
