Bought this cpu to go with an Intel DQ77KB board for a pfsense deployment. Running it in an Akasa Galileo chassis, this thing ticks along at 40c or less while being passively cooled.It also rocks the AES-NI support that is going to be leveraged in the upcoming releases of pfsense for enhanced encryption performance (ideal if you're running a VPN server).Very happy!

This CPU chip is perfect for any LGA-1155 device where power and or heat management is limited. The chip is used on a QNAP NAS device providing AES for data encryption/decryption, 2.9 to 3.6 Ghz (Turbo) on dual core with four threads for fast application processing. The power is based at 35 Watts and therefore not requiring significant cooling, especially where the device chassis is limited. The temperatures range from 38C to 46C at an average of 41C in general use.Always seek professional or experienced help in fitting any CPU. Also note warranties can be made void by the device manufacture if the device is modified.

Meine erste Wahl wegen des TDP von 35 Watt.Ein echtes Energiesparbrötchen mit ausreichend Leistung für nicht-Gamer.Bei mir kam die CPU bisher noch nicht über 50% Last.Und die Grafik ist für meine Ansprüche auch vollkommen O.K.Empfehlung!
