Such a pretty bowl, it coordinates with my Fiestaware. Nice size for small salad for 2 or side dishes.

I got the whole vessels set and I needed one more bowl. I've been using for a few years, I m happy, not so fast.

Stylish and lightweight, this dish series is fabulous for both everyday dining and entertaining. Just be sure not to shock a cold dish or bowl in hot (warm) water as they are prone to breaking under those circumstances. But goes great in dishwasher, oven, and fridge

I've waxed rhapsodic about iittala's Origo elsewhere; suffice it to say here that this bowl is just large enough to be useful as a "large" serving bowl or salad bowl for a meal serving up to 6 or 8 people. Since I seldom cook for more that this, it's perfect. Also, as noted in another review, the proportions (and colors!) make it a lovely fruit bowl.
