I picked up the IFOOTAGE Cobra 3 Base to use with several of my monopods. This little IFOOTAGE Cobra base is incredibly solid. The detachment point that screws onto the base of your monopod goes on tightly and shouldn't come off very easily at all. When attaching the monopod to the base you have to pull down on the locking mechanism while placing the base of the monopod into it in order to lock it into place. I've tried with several monopods and without some serious force I must pull down on the mechanism.The legs of the Cobra 3 have 3 leg adjustments for varied heights. At the end of each of the legs you have great grippy rubber feet. If you raise all the legs of the mini tripod up there's an orange bumper to protect the base from getting marred up.Overall, IFOOTAGE makes great equipment and this one is a solid mini tripod and a great addition to my monopods especially when shooting at air shows and air bases. If you're looking for a new mini tripod or you're like myself and want a solid base for your monopods, then I'd definitely recommend taking a look at this one!

i can take photo as low as i can. Easy to use, it could have been nice if i can have the camera on portrait but the support is not supported by its legs.

On YouTube videos you just pull down on the red collar and it releases. mine does not, it takes two of us to pull it apart. going to return it.
