Solo por la reputación de su marca iFi ha producido un gran, pequeño DAC que cumple con todas las expectativas para la reproducción de musica en HiRes. Ha sido poco tiempo que lo tengo como para determinar si su construcción es lo suficientemente sólida y duradera, pero a simple tacto da la impresión de estar bien fabricado. Quizás lo que cambiaría sería tener un boton de encendido y apagado en vez de utilizar el volumen rotatorio, ya que es tan liviano que se desliza cada vez que uno lo quiere apagar - un punto insignificativo pero podría mejorar el producto. Adicionalmente, el eq solo funciona para auriculares, lo cual no se menciona en el manual - pero no es de consecuencia porque el eq se hace desde la plataforma que uno utilice (Audirvana, Roon, etc.). En conclusión, la función principal del iFi uno, la de convertir la señal digital a una analógica lo hace con excelencia y sin esfuerzo. Es un buen producto y a un precio muy aceptable.

I'd purchased a reasonably priced mid-range laptop from Acer - I couldn't justify the cost of a MacBook Pro anymore. Something I wasn't expecting is how poor the sound is (it's and Acer Swift 16, great OLED display as a sidenote ).The Apple MBPs babe decent DACs so you can just plug in headphones and you're good to go, but this Acer is tiny, lifeless and low on volume. Fine for very casual listening but if you're someone used to half decent headphones (Sony MDR-7506, nothing crazy expensive) you'll appreciate the upgrade.There's 2 buttons, the first cycles through the EQ, which is essentially 4 offerings. Off, Game, Video and Music. Really this is highs, mids and lowend boosts. I leave it on music as that's what I prefer.There's a power match button, if you're using in ear monitors or low Ohm headphones that may be enough, easy to play with though.Turning the volume right down turns it off. I've had it for 6 months now and really enjoy it.If you're someone who likes to apply a lot of extra bass, you'll either want to look for something with more EQ controls or use software. I think for most people the subtle EQ options will suit.For the technical side, it supports 32 bit, 384000 Hz. And Hi- Res Audio certified, so if you're using services such as Qobuz or Tidal, you're able to crank the settings. But don't worry, it's an improvement for any source for me. If you're using Windows you will have to change this as the default for the decide is 16bit

I need to be able to play music from my iPhone through my home audio system. My home receiver does support Bluetooth, but I was unhappy with the experience of connecting the phone this way. I found that I had to turn the volume on the receiver WAY up in order to hear the music at an acceptable volume. I also wasn't thrilled with the overall sound quality. I'm no audiophile - this is just music streaming from Spotify, not lossless FLAC files - but I felt like it should sound better than it did.Enter the iFi Uno. This has proven to be exactly what I needed. In my case, I had to pair it with the "Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter", which you can find here on Amazon for about $38. With these two devices, I'm able to enjoy music from my phone through my home audio system at a high level of quality. Hook the lightening adapter to the phone. Hook the Uno to the USB-A port on the adapter. You're good to go. For bonus functionality, hook a lightening charging cable to the other port in the adapter, and your phone can also recharge while it's playing your music.With the Uno device, you are bypassing the iPhone's onboard DAC in favor of the dedicated one in the UNO. I can definitely hear the difference in quality. You also get the benefit of the Uno's pre-amp, which lets you boost the volume a bit, so that you don't have to go nuts with the home receiver's volume. I'm connecting to the home receiver with the Uno's RCA connections. I am using the Uno's "power matching" feature, which seems to add a slight increase in strength to the signal, but it's very subtle. This feature may be aimed more at headphone users, but that's not what I needed the device for. The onboard equalizer seems to work fine - I can hear the difference in the 3 pre-set sound profiles - but I don't use it. I prefer to use Spotify's equalizer to adjust the sound if necessary.So for about $120 for the two devices, I have a setup now which allows me to get the most out of my streaming music and my home audio system. For me, it's been well worth the cost. The only downside is that this is a wired connection. It lacks the convenience of Bluetooth, but the improvement in sound quality and volume has been well worth the slight inconvenience for me. I hope someone finds this helpful.

Yikes! This is a pleasant surprise. Strong sounds emanating from a tiny package. Has a tactile volume knob. Three EQ settings for games, music, film. And a lo-gain/hi-gain setting for when you switch between IEMs and over-ear headphones.The build quality is nice, basically a hard plastic oval with aluminum faces front and back. Data and power is delivered from the same USB port. The only quibble is a faint rattling that comes from within when you give the Uno a gentle shake. What could it be...?Things like MQA decoding are nice to have but not essential (I imagine the price would be even cheaper if the manufacturer dropped this feature and paid less for licensing).

Some time ago i was hyped for the reviews and bought it.First impression, super nice, fit perfect in the desk, volume knob nice to handle and cute device. Perfect to see my yout. live shows+ enjoy headphones.But then you go for what it made for, sound:- constantly one small pop/crack sound when skip timestamp in music or video.(this drove me crazy, sure was some codec problem or sample rate but omg, stress)-weird sound when you change different EQs.-EQ music mode doesn't change anything in music-drivers work the same way as no driver update.(in my case)This device did a good job opening my eyes to never believe in online reviews 100%. And because looked like "it can't go wrong" purchased, for my surprise, was. I had bad moments trying to fix the crack sound, updating my drivers, changing headphones, doesn't worth the stress.Meanwhile I've tested Fiio Q11 dac/amp and just blow this Ifi Uno OUT OF THEWATER.

Works ok, cannot comment on ifi uno hifi quality :-) as my other devices and/or my ears don't have that "resolution". For me solved an issue where I needed to unplug line in/out when I wanted to use wired headpohes on my pc setup. Now line out is premanently plugged in ifi uno rca and I can plug headphones to the front. Both outputs work at the same time. So if you want just headphones, you need to turn off the other device connected to ifi uno through rca because it will play also. Volume knob controls both outputs.Headphone out picks up a lot of noise when EQ is activated on game and video option and the ifi uno is close to other electonic devices like pc, docking station, external hdd. This does not happen on music EQ option or when off also I cannot hear it through the line out rca output.
