I bought this a few months ago and only had the opportunity to set it up recently. I tried setting it up on a Raspberry Pi 4 and a raspberry Pi Zero.It arrives well packaged but with zero instructions. After looking at the product page, I realised that you had to go to the waveshare website to install the driver.I've been playing around for weeks, using clean installs and playing with the orientation of the board. Nothing works. It seems like a kernel issue with the most recent version of Raspbian.It's a waste of money, go for another brand or model.

No es un mal HAT de audio para raspberry, pero en las versiones más recientes de Raspberry Pi OS, simplemente no va a funcionar aunque sigas las instrucciones del fabricante (que no se ha enterado de los cambios "recientes" que hubo en el kernel de Linux hace ya tiempo).Por ejemplo, no tiene compatibilidad con Moode Audio Player para raspberry Pi 4.El driver que proporciona el fabricante te funcionará, más probablemente, en versiones antiguas del sistema operativo (las antiguamente llamadas "Raspbian"). En todos los demás casos, tendrás que conseguir versiones alternativas de otros del driver, creadas por otros fabricantes o personas, para HATs que utilizan el mismo chip WM8960.

Did not work with Raspberry pi 4 as advertised. Check online forums before you buy.Works great with Raspberry pi 3b however
