I don’t know how I’ve lived my whole life without this kitchen gadget! I never knew anything like this even existed! Such a simple design that really works on even on the largest pot lids including my heavy Dutch oven lid. No more constant wiping the countertops from lid drips and condensation! It’s not as big or takes up too much counter space as some other reviewers have noted. Can leave it out on the counter, or easily store it in a cabinet close to your stove! I have now gifted many of these!

I was just looking for a spoon rest, when I came across this. My counter space is teeny, as is my stove. So there's nowhere to put a lid when I remove it from a pot or pan, or I've got practically no prep space left. Plus, condensation or gunk drips onto the counter top, if I put the lid down flat. This holds the lid from my 13" frying pan... with another smaller lid on the same side... without tipping over! Plus, I can put a big spatula or large slotted spoon (or both together!) on one of the sides. I even use it to hold all four grates while I'm cleaning the top of the stove. Genius design and amazing value. Got another friends, and they love it, too.

works as described does not stand up well on my gas stove top, but is fine on the counter
