Poorly designed. Had to RMA due to intermittent "printer tray door open" warning in printer display. The door was not open--the door sensor was defective shutting down any use of the printer.

Terrible product.We have three of the HP Laserjet Pro 500 printers with this attachment. I had to remove this secondary paper tray from two of them because of paper jams and/or the printer thinking it has the wrong size paper in it.

I wanted to have a paper source for draft type printing and one for high quality. This tray was super easy to install. Just place the printer on top of the new tray and then configure the driver to see it. About 10 minutes start to finish. The tray feeds just like the original try. It is now Tray 3. No problems so far.

This tray works great on a HP-500 color 551n Printer. I can now print my checks from a separate tray. It arrived fast in great condition. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that in order for the computer to see the tray when printing is to use the USB port. You can use both the network and the USB at the same time. It will show up as 2 separate printers. If you need to select tray 3, just choose the USB printer and select tray 3. That is my only complaint.
