Had it on my AR-style rifle for a few weeks and so far it has been good. Not really used the quick-release feature though as it just stays on the rifle permanently. Got banged in the bag a few times but still going strong. Feels solid and robust.

For context. I started shooting nearly 50 years ago and was at one point a professional rifle instructor in the US, I have used many types of rifles, pistols and shotguns.I gave this a good review when I got it. Unfortunate the one retaining screw that makes it quick release sheared off during mild use.I replaced it with a thicker screw of my own which rids me of quick release catch which I did not want anyway and so makes it slimmer. (see photo I will get a black one at some point)I'm torn as to if it deserves more stars but as sold I can not give it more than three as it may mislead people.The photo next to the khaki rail(unrelated) shows the sheared screw, you can see that it is weak point.The handle itself it great. Very solid and you can store things in it. When I first used this sort of handle many years ago. they were round and I have always preferred that shape as it feels the same in your hand however you have your weapon, close or outstretched. This is oval which some people prefer, It feels OK with gloves or without. I only ever used them on carbines, I know some younger folk prefer them as a way of holding a rifle. The end cap is rounded on the edges so you can use it as a stand and roll your aim point up or down which I likeMy reviews follow this star rating:1 Star; Very unsatisfactory product.
