While I like these, as do my three kids, I'm not sure they're worth the price. At $12 per stick that's not a huge price by any means, but it does seem higher than it should be. I can't say they function better than hockey tape but they definitely last longer which saves time, which I always appreciate. The first time we ordered them we had them on for just about the entire season, 12 weeks which consisted of 12 games and 12 practices. They still seemed like they were doing decent until these arrived at which point it was obvious that we should have replaced them earlier as they were worn down significantly. We'll probably alternate between these and using tape, largely due to their price, but I also think it's somewhat therapeutic to wrap your own tape on your stick and it's one thing that the kids actually seem to be okay taking their time doing.

Really neat to see the stick on the ice as it brings a bit of colour to the game. You would have to order quite a few per hockey season though so it gets really expensive very fast, and hockey is already really pricey. It sticks really well on the hockey stick and stays put. It does wear out after less then half a season though. Tape is cheaper and lasts longer but this is fun every once in a while! Overall I wouldn't switch though.

My son was very pleased with this item. It was easy to attach and comes with stick ons for both the front and back of the blade. Seems durable so far.
