Extremely small and lightweight splitter. Perfect for switching between both my consoles on the projector. Quality is perfect, with no obvious drop in framer ate when gaming....obky real downside is not having a remote to switch between outputs

This H.MAY branded Display Port switch splitter comes presented in a resealable plastic pouch, together with a USB-to-USB C cable, and a concise instruction book.The product is designed to couple two Display Port outputs such as a computer and game console and enable switching to a single Display Port output device such as a monitor. An alternative use would be to connect one Display output such as a computer to two separate display monitors one perhaps located in another room. It is important to note that this is not a splitter, but a switch. Essentially the same job can be achieved just by swopping Display Port cable plugs, but this niche product makes this just a matter of pushing a button.No discernible drop in quality was ascertained, signals appeared to be faithfully preserved when this switch was connected.This is a powered device via the USB-to-USB C cable supplied. You will need your own USB power supply, but nowadays most households with have multiple USB powered sockets in on form or another. The power appears to be necessary to operate the switch mechanism itself, without power the switch appears to stay in default state. Small blue LEDs show whether DP1 or DP2 is switched in.The quality of the switch box itself appears excellent, and metallic to touch, indicative of good shielding quality.At £28.99 at time of this review, a little pricey for a fairly simple function. However, this is a niche product, and if required this unit by H.MAY does a competent job as a bi-directional two to one Display Port switch.
