Quality chains for a pistol range. I haven't had any issues with them breaking. Good kit.

I own a small range with about 20 AR500 plates on various hangers. Recently, I needed additional chains to hang some new targets, and I was short on time, so I ordered these.All chains and hardware arrived in a box about the size of an Uno deck.Everything advertised was included. The chains are very thin and light, and the mounting hardware is lighter duty than any other target hangers that I've ever used.The included carriage bolts are too small to actually catch in any of the mounting "squares" on any of the targets I own.I was able to make them work, but I ended up removing better chains from two of my smallest, lightest targets, and using those better chains on my new targets, and using these on my lightest targets.They work, but the chains are light, and prone to kinking.If you are hanging 1/4" thick targets for rim-fire, these are adequate, but if you're trying to hang a 10" 1.2" thick AR500 gong, I wouldn't trust these.For the price of six of these sets, I can buy two sets of "proper" target hanging chains, and that's what I'll be doing in the future.

These worked really well for hanging targets. pulled a 223 and hit the chain, oops. Which even some heaver chain won't stand up to that so this isn't really a surprise.the chains stood up to the targets getting hit by up to a 308, but one I moved to a higher caliber stuff started to separate just with impact with the target. I hang 3" and a 10" 3/8" AR500 targets side by side.The half of these I haven't destroyed will be going to the scout camp for the 22 range and they will work just fine for those targets.
