I have a 2014 FJ. My husband installed this for me. He said he did have to do some minor adjustments but it is on and looks great. I wouldn't say it is the sturdiest of what is available and I wouldn't recommend it for taller/heavier folks that may be planning to use it often. For me, I am fairly small (5'2") and only plan to use this for washing the top of the truck. :)

If you have a bigger than stock tire it doesn't work the bottom bracket will cut into the side bumper. I'm a little handy so I made new holes in the bracket so I could put the ladder closer to the truck and clear the tire width a little more. Doing this also made me have to cut off part of the top middle support of the bracket so the ladder reached the bolt holes. I also had to add a small piece of rubber to the top of the ladder because making it closer to the truck made it almost touch the actual top of my truck. Overall I will only use it as a handle to pull myself up so I'm not worried. But it should say in the description don't use if you don't have a stock size tire. Oh I also had to make holes bigger on top section of ladder to make it fit well to the upper brace.
