My 6ft fence nearly blow over with the strong winds a couple of months ago...I thought I would have to replace some of the fence..bought these to try first took 15 mins to fix to posts ..and it feels solid ..excellent...Will prob buy a few more just to secure other posts in future

I used the product to stabilise a 2 metre wooden fence post, which was moving extensively due to ground conditions. It was fairly easy to hammer into the ground using a lump hammer. I used wadding to cushion the blows as there was a little distortion of the metal after a few blows. The pilot drill supplied for the screws actually snapped in use, so I used one of my own. The screws drove in easily using the hex head bit supplied. I now have a much more stable post. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the second spike to stabilise another post. As I hit concrete about half a metre below the surface. A lesson here, test the ground by driving a stake in before you buy.

These are nice and strong, good size and the design with the step makes it very easy to hammer into the ground. The pair comes with bolt headed screws to secure to the broken fence post. Has done what it was intended to do very well. Would recommend for emergency repair to broken post at ground level.
