And no one has mentioned the things that are frankly awful about this machine, costing £144 which is not cheap. First, the response time of the multimeter is soooo slow. It seems to be its auto ranging feature that causes it. Given that older multimeters from other manufacturers are lightening quick to range properly, I’m guessing this is down to a) poor engineering design or b) poor firmware. The included cables are trash. They do not fit well on the BNC connectors and i actually thought my unit had faulty jacks. It’s extremely hard to put the cables in and secure them and then the same trying to get them off! This fight will lead to an early failure of the jacks for sure. The manual is frankly awful, not helped by the confusing and unintuitive user interface of the machine, especially in oscilloscope mode. You end up randomly pressing buttons hoping for the best. “Not to worry” i thought, “a firmware update will sort this out”. With that in your mind, and before you click buy, inspired no doubt by all the you tube reviewers who had this unit for free, go to Owon’s website. Search for this unit, and look for Latest Firmware. Yes. That’s right. There isn’t one. No current one, no updated one, nothing at all. I haven’t missed it, there is a header where they would put it - it simply isn’t there. So you are left with a unit that is difficult to use, will probably fail quickly, with a multimeter function not worth the time, and a sinking feeling that you have wasted your money. Wouldn’t buy again.

Ozi und Multimeter in einem Gerät. Nicht nur fürs Hobby sehr praktisch sollte auch in keiner Mobilen Werkstatt fehlen. Das Zubehör ist alles in allem auch total OK.

An excellent all round tool when tinkering with lower frequency electronics, e.g. Arduino. The combination of multimeter and oscilloscope in one instrument, albeit with a small display relative to desktop scope, is brilliant. It seems pretty accurate in terms of measurement too.

Schöner kleiner preiswerter Oszi. Macht alles, was er soll. Eben für eine Grobanalyse. Wenn ich mehr machen will, kauf ich mir ein Gerät von Hewlett und Packard.

Hab mir das teil gekauft weil auch ein Signalgenerator integriert ist ( zum Ruhestrom einstellen meines alten Denon Class A Verstärker)Funktioniert alles gut, ich vermisse auch beim Oszilloskop keine funktionen, Multimeter integriert. Für 200€ spitze und wenn ich mich nicht verlesen hab gibt owon 3jahre garantie.

es macht richtig Freude mit dem Gerät zu arbeiten. Gut und umfangreiche Messungen sind damit zu machen. Unentberlich für den Kundendiensttechniker. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Aber, die Bedienung des Geräts ist stark gewöhnungsbedüftig. Einmal der unsichere Stand das Geräts mit der herausklappbaren Stütze als auch die Bedienung des Oszi-Teils sind verbesserungswürdig.Ansonsten ist es vom messtechnischen Standpunkt aus betrachtet ein recht gutes Gerät. Die Genauigkeit bewegt sich im vorgegebenen Rahmen und ist ok.
