Clear glass with decent eye box considering the price point. Only thing I can ding for is that the illumination should start at one level for both colors (red/green) For example. Starting at Low for both colors instead of high on one and low on the other.Full disclosure. I haven't zeroed this scope yet (I bought two) on my Ruger American or my Savage MkII, but I have no reason to think they wont.The illumination is very good and the tool less adjustment knobs are nice. Target knobs would have been nice, but being MilDot you are supposed to zero and use the hold off.Over all quality is quite good with little wiggle at adjustable objective or at the eye piece.4.5 stars.

Hab das Zielfernrohr schon länger im Einsatz und bin mit der Leistung tagsüber sehr zufrieden. Für die Nacht würde ich das Produkt nur eingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

IR Crosshair are great. Very accurate. My groups are awesome. I looked up a ballistic chart it is that consistent. Life time warranty for original buyer. I used my Gamo supplied one piece mount, fit perfect.

Habe das ZF auf mein altes Walther KK Gewehr gebaut um damit 50 und 100 m zu schießen . Funktioniert einwandfrei . Für größere Kaliber auch geeignet da hab ich aber ein meopta . Viel Spaß damit

Das Finish und die Verarbeitung sind von herausragender Qualität. Alle beweglichen Teile laufen exakt mit einer sinnvollen Schwergängigkeit. Die optische Leistung ist nahe an hochpreisigen Gläsern. Die Bildschärfe ist große Klasse. Das Glas ist absolut prellschlagfest. Die Beleuchtung des Absehens hat sinnvolle Helligkeitsstufen. Bei starker Vergrößerung entstehen Chromatische Aberrationen (Farbsäume an kontrastreichen Objektkanten) im Randbereich, wenn man mit dem Auge etwas hin- und herwandert. Das ist aber keinesfalls störend. Schade finde ich, dass das Absehen in der ersten Ebene ist. Dadurch ist die Treffpunktlage bei jeder Vergrößerung eine andere (außer die Entfernung bei Fleckschuß). So habe ich mir eine Tabelle für die Vergrößerungen 2x, 4x und 7x angefertigt, auf der die Haltepunkte für unterschiedliche Entfernungen angegeben sind.

Ich habe dieses großartige Scope auf eine 185 lbs Armbrust montiert, weil ich einen variablen Vergrößerungsbereich haben wollte. Die Abbildungsleistung ist absolut makellos, bis zum Rand ist alles messerscharf, klar und kontrastreich. Das rot/grün mil dot Absehen mit seinen 4 Haltepunkten in alle Richtungen empfinde ich als ideal. Auf 100m beträgt das Sichtfeld je nach Vergrößerung 4,7 bis 15,5m. Klasse! Die Haptik, Klicks usw. wirken hochwertig und für die Ewigkeit gemacht. Das ZF ist um die 290mm lang und steht auf meiner Armbrust einige Zentimeter hinten über dem Schaft, passt aber besser als das kürzere Standart ZF. Da musste ich den Kopf unnatürlich nach vorn legen. Preis/Leistung: besser geht`s nicht.

I originally had this scope mounted on a .223 Remington, but have since mounted it on a .22lr. The scope has performed flawlessly on both rifles. I have contacted Hawke to learn more about their product by phone and email. They have always answered my questions. I think registering your scope for the warranty is easy too. Hawke is a company from the U.K. while their product is made in China, similar to Vortex being a U.S. company and their products also being made in China. I try to support American companies, but I just couldn’t afford one with all of these features with it being made in the U.S.A. I own two Hawke rifle scopes from the Vantage line. These scopes are all caliber rated. The other Vantage scope I have is mounted on a .22lr. If I have a need for another scope I will definitely look into purchasing another.

This is an update from my previous review. Mostly to state my appreciation of the quick response to my first review of this product. Both PhotoBargain and HawkeOptics contacted me within 2 hours of my review, one even by phone.It was explained to me that this model of scope, with IR (illuminated reticle), has a very thin reticle(crosshair). This, along with my 60+ year old eyes, made it almost impossible for me to see the reticle. The IR feature was still an issue, with fuzzy and blurry crosshairs when illuminated. The glass and construction of this scope is fantastic, though. It is what I expect from Hawke, from previous experience with the Vantage line.PhotoBargain was quick to get the process of exchange going and HawkeOptics wanted me to be fully satisfied with thier product. Needless to say, I now have a Hawke scope with a thicker reticle and a better knowledge of what works best for my situation.Thanks so much to both Joe and Jes for thier enthusiastic and professional responses, as well to Amazon for getting the replacement to me quickly. Pretty good glass for a plinker air rifle. Liked it so much I put a new one on a .22 Benjamin Marauder.This is used for plinking and rodent control inside 40 yards. I'm not an optics guru, but have looked through some Steiner and Leica glass. This is not that.This is a low cost, decent quality scope that helps my old eyes connect with the target better than I could with iron sights.It holds focus and POI when changing magnification.I had one mounted on a little .177 Weirauch and it shot great, although it was a little large for that rifle. I moved it to an untuned .22cal RWS 34 and after 200 rounds the reticles were loose. The harsh springer beat it apart. Nothing really negative to say other than that, but this hasn't been dropped or subjected to any extreme temperature changes or precipitation and it probably never will.I dont know if I'd trust it for Alaskan spring bear, but this is an honest piece of equipment and well worth the price. Hawke customer service is very good
