These paper accordion stands get their strength from being tightly folded. Unfortunately, the plastic round pieces that set on the top of the columns are in two pieces and have to be fitted together. This does not make a stable surface on top of a column where you probably want to set and display things. Therefore, in order to use the set, I had to have other round circles cut from one solid piece of thin wood.These are interesting decorative items if you do many displays or special events, and it’s convenient that they can fold away and take up less space than solid columns, but I would not purchase again because they just don’t seem durable enough for my purposes.

I ordered these for an installation at a clients wedding and even though they are made of a thick, heavy paper they are actually quite sturdy and could certainly hold some weight. Great columns and they fold up for easy storage. Would recommend. I was pleasantly surprised at the durability.

Havenlux 5 Pcs Foldable Cylinder Pedestal Stand for Parties (Round - 5PCS): These are amazing! They fold up in a very long compact box. But when you need them, they unfold into 5 perfect stands for cakes, flowers, gifts. and more. Now, they would be easy to knock over so I would recommend putting them in a corner area. However, they look stunning and could really make a statement in a room. Great find!

I've been looking for a party stand that doesn't take up lot of space to store and this hit the bill. All 5 stands fit in a narrow box that would fit anywhere. I was impressed by the quality as well. It was easy to put together. I just needed to buy some covers that was it. Highly recommend.
