I have worn Harley Davidson boots for 30+yrs. HD has always done a great job at combining "style & durability" quite well through the years. I absolutely do not trust any other company with the safety of my feet while I am riding my FXR H-D motorcycle. Handsdown the best in protection for me time & time again! Go ahead and give them a try. Why not?!

Boots are sturdy and substantial. Like heavy winter boots, not really for any other season unless you are actually wearing them for motorcycle riding! Don't feel like real leather, more like pleather. I got mine deeply on sale and am happy with the price. Would I have bought them at $200+?... probably not

Was unsure however, these boots fix great! I wore them all day the 1st day of use & we’re very comfortable!! Love them.

After comparing a number of boots, I decided on the Oakleigh. After I received them, I sprayed 2 applications of a waterproofing spray since they are leather. Upon first wear, they were subject to dirt, gravel, dust and 2 downpours. They held up great and my sock did not get wet inside (I wore a thick wool sock). The only problem I had when I finally decided on the boot, none of the Harley dealers in state had either my size or color. Tried other shopping avenues and size 8 was always sold out, even Amazon had a hard time having the size in stock. So if you wear a size 8 in this boot, get it when you can! UPDATE: still a great boot! Not clunky or heavy to wear even for long periods. Has held up under the weather and riding. Loving the zipper part. No need to keep untying the laces. Great boot for lady operators and lady riders.
