This is a very well made toy, and my daughter absolutely loves it! She is obsessed with the spiral silicone outer portion and chews on it all the time. Definitely worth it and it makes a great gender neutral gift!

Hape has been making quality children’s toys for generations and this apple grab is a great example of their handiwork. It’s a “mixed media” toy that has both wooden elements for strength/durability and silicone elements that are great for being soft/for little kiddos to put their mouths on as will inevitably happen. (There’s also a ribbon element in the top of course as well.). The toy is very engaging for littles with nice and bright colors and fun shapes that evoke an apple while still being very creative and mixing in interactive elements of a rattle/shape slide and spirals as well.The size is good for a little as well - large and chunky enough to be easily grabbed but small enough to be easy to move around. All the pieces function like they should and it’s all made with that great Hape quality - it could probably live through a whole pack of kiddos and not be any worse for the wear. It’s also easy to wipe clean when it inevitably gets dirty (because of the wooden elements, I wouldn’t submerge it in water, but it still cleans up nicely).So if you’re looking for a high quality, modern twist on an older fashioned toy, this is a great one to check out from the name in the business. The toy is easy to grab from the silicone strands and the cloth top. It is also very light so if an infant were to swing their arms and accidentally hit themselves with it, I think all would be fine My only issue with this toy is the wood center part. So I definitely would not recommend for a teething baby. Other than that it seems to be a good and interesting toy for an infant. See picture.

I got the Hape Apple Grab Toy as part of a new baby gift for my sister, and it’s seriously one of the cutest baby toys out there! My daughter immediately reached out for this toy, and while her grip accuracy isn't that great because she's only 8 weeks old, the flexible nature of the edges of it meant she was able to move it around a little bit. She seemed to enjoy playing with it, and gravitates towards it when I put it down on her play mat. It's a good size, it's a large enough to be interesting to grab that, but it's designing a way that it's very lightweight. So when she has the strength to grip she can pick it up and look at it. It seems very durably constructed and the silicone material looks like it will hold up to chewing when we get there.

Hatten es zwar nicht hier gekauft sondern geschenkt bekommen, aber die ersten Monate hätten wir eigentlich nur dieses Spielzeug gebraucht :D und auch ab einem halben Jahr hing es immer am Autositz und hat dort gut für Beschäftigung gesorgt. Qualität hat nicht nachgelassen, sieht im Prinzip aus wie am ersten Tag
