Identical to the OEM one but far cheaper to replace. No branding (a plus).Sure, the Leica one has to be better but I don’t know how. The logo? It feels and fits identically as well as nicely color matched with my Q2 Monochrom.The thing is that the metal hood is vital protection and inevitably gets banged around. It functions as your first defense against banging around.Frankly I wish I had bought this one immediately and put the original somewhere warm.

The Leica origial hood is black, which is ok, just wanted to see what a silver looks on my Q2, it's looks less boring, and quality is equal to Leica's original hood, very happy!

Haoge has made a great replacement for the original lens hood that came with the Q cameras. This is so nice in looks and operation that I took my original one off the camera and put it back in the box to save for the time I might resell the camera.
