Mal wieder wurde mir ein Produkt geschickt, dass offensichtlich ein bereits geöffneter Rückläufer geschickt, obwohl ich für Neuware bezahlt habe, und mir das Produkt auch als „neu“ verkauft wurde. Sehr enttäuschend. Dann macht das Produkt gleich viel weniger Spaß.

Firstly I was amazed by fastest ever delivery from Germany (ordered by Amazon.DE) up to my location in Brasov in Romania concretely more than 3 days before the earliest officially estimated /expected day!Unfortunately after getting this item from an opened instead of a sealed box...as brought by UPS courier (curiously I was expecting to get it delivered by DHL, that is mostly well known focused with own large representatives inside EU network between Germany and Romania) , I found more thin scratches crossing its indicators protective panel, so it could be delivered from other sources as refurbished instead of a new as paid one!!So, with also your precious reviews before me in mind....after next 2 days of intensive usage to research about its use potential, reliability and accuracy, I have found the following useful to know facts about:- firstly read very attentively its manual from the package as to better undersand its tricks and issues...as I also found here some mismatched reviews regarding its functionality.I can proove you that I found it finally as working EXACTLY as described in that manual.Including its confusive unfortunatelly really...large tolerance (30%) as mentioned in manual.- notice that first time use requires initial charging about 3 hours to format the new battery if...This first period you will get scary confusion as may be not able to start any screen but 2 internal LEDs you may see in the dark...will notify you that charging just started.When you will recharge it later after first few hours long use (I found only 3 hours available...) next time there are 3 red yellow green LEDs visibly inside that will show you both charging progress but also realtime battery level to prevent measurement failure unexpectedly...So, coming back to my first steps, however, after more hours of very confusive failed trials to start it (because of what I explained above!), I found its microUSB cable as defective so after replacing with my mobile phone charging cable, I have finally got succes in charging it other 3 hours and then start it reliably repeteadly during more consecutive charging, discharging including reactivate from screen saver(it also has it to prolong battery usage!)After around 20 minutes of continuos realtime displaying all indicators, it self shut the screen but indicators continue running so if SHORT-time click that power button, the screen light again with no need to wait again initialization period.The 20 minutes interval is fixed and maybe settled by the reason that you should wait minimum 15 minutes for the indicators to get stabilized for more accuracy and to avoid false measurements.It same as it happenned in my above smoggy experiment when only after more than 10 minutes I found sensors to indicate the event by rapidly increase tens times values!Consequently after 2 minutes initialization imposed from cold start or RESET (to be done whenever you change location, the average where you need test).TO RESET, push middle RESET button 3 seconds until starting the screen with all indicators NULL.Immediately the CO indicator will self start seconds counting up to 120 s (2 minutes) and then all indicators will self start realtime displaying measurements.Now for test, I burnt some plastic at about 1 meter from it in a closed room with no measurement results in first 10 minutes....All indicators have then started increased their values (not only those dedicated to that simulated pollution specific!) after more than 10 minutes from the event even if I was already see it as through a dense frog provoked inside a closed testing room...I repeated measurement then on free spaces outside but also again coming back to my room.After 2 days of usage finally its sensors seem to differ their behaviour in front of a pollution impact so we can somehow start to get some trust in!...But considering its chaotic too large tolerance predicted even in manual...and sometimes randomly followed by strange very dynamic varying values never reproductible at same event, I think that the ONLY CERTAIN USE OF THIS ITEM IS TO...REFRESH YOUR AIR IN THE ROOM BY OPENING WINDOWS LARGELY WHENEVER ANY OF ITS SENSORS WILL START INCREASING ITS AVERAGE VALUE!....The device really works somehow but not useable for more you will never know what does it really measures at a given time but surely it will detect a change in the average that oftenly is done by various rarely good for health impacts or factors!!My ESSENTIAL ADVICE: I also found by more tests that you can easily prolong its daily continuous usage by simply supply it from EXTERNAL portable battery same as you use to revive mobiles outside far from home... The only limit is your external backup battery capacity but you can do even more by USB supplying it from a SOLAR rechargable battery!Anyway if comparing with almost all other devices available today at this price interval, this HAMA has much more interesting sensors, smartest display for all of them continuously and can help you live healthy even if rarely getting aware of which of around breathing dangers you are to remove by often open your windows for freshing air inside, of course during less polluted hours by traffic...Just get inspired from my real side photos during some use tests!

Ich wollte mein vorhandenes uHoo Sytem um einen schnellen, mobilen und günstigen CO2 Sensor erweitern. Zum Glück verwende ich dieses zuverlässigere (aber leider auch sehr teure Produkt) schon seit Jahren, und habe damit Referenz- und Erfahrungswerte, wie sich 500 oder 1500ppm CO2 anfühlt. Sowie historische Daten und Verläufe wie sich Luftwerte unter welchen Bedingungen in meinem Haus ändern.Dieses Produkt war aber leider ein Griff ins Klo:- Die angezeigten Werte sind fast immer völliger Schwachsinn.Konsequent viel zu niedrig oder plötzlich irrwitzig Hoch. Möchte man dem Sensor out of the box glauben, hat jeder meiner Räume gerade im Winter wo 2-3 mal täglich das gesamte Haus durchgelüftet wird und sonst geschlossen ist, konstand unter 500ppm CO2. Einfach nein. Laut dem uHoo Sensor pendelt es eher so von 700-1200, bis eben wieder gelüftet wird.- Kalibrierung geht verlorenDie einzige Chance für kurze Zeit halbwegs sinnvolle Werte zu erhalten ist das Gerät im Freien zu kalibrieren und dann nach innen zu bringen. Bis es sich das nächste mal automatisch abschaltet - dann sind wieder alle Werte falsch.- Schaltet sich automatisch ab, auch am StromZuerst dachte ich, der USB-Stecker funktioniert nicht. Eingesteckt - nichts passiert. Ein bisschen gewackelt und dann gings los mit dem Laden. Blöd nur, dass das Gerät automatisch auf Batteriebetrieb umstellt wenn es vollständig geladen wurde. Dann schaltet es sich nach einer Weile automatisch ab, und beim nächsten Start sind wieder alle Werte Müll. Wow.- Nerviges fiepen bei LadevorgangWenn das Gerät am Netz hängt und lädt, gibt es einen durchgehenden deutlich wahrnehmbaren hohen Ton von sich. Sehr unangenehm.

Wer sich nicht einfach mit seiner Umgebungsluft abfinden will, sondern auf Messwerte setzt, hat mit diesem Gerät einen guten Anhaltspunkt.Zur Genauigkeit kann ich nichts sagen. Die versprochenen Toleranzwerte sind akzeptabel.

Gerät insgesamt gut, Messanzeigen verändern sich ständig, wahrscheinlich dadurch muss das Gerät täglich wieder aufgeladen werden.

Das Gerät ist sehr umständlich in der Handhabung, da es von Hand kalibriert werden muss (was sich ohne zuverlässsige Referenzwerte ohnehin als schwierig erweist) und resetet werden muss. Die Genau funktionsweise der Resettaste ist leider im Handbuch nicht erklärt, lediglich eine vage Anweisung dass dies nach einer Umpositionierung des Gerätes zu erfolgen habe.Die Messergebnisse selbst stellten sich als höchst inkosistent heraus. Im Handbuch ist eine Messungenauigkeit von 3%-30% angegeben. Diese Angabe bezieht sich auf das ganze Gerät ohne zu erörtern welche Messfunktion welche Messungenauigkeit besitzt.Ein Messfehler von 30% bedeutet, dass insbesondere Die Angabe des CO2 Wertes (der falsch beschriftet ist) vollkommen nutzlos und nichtssagend ist.

Works great and provides good overview of the air quality (i have not calibrated the device) the only downside is that the charger cable (usb) is a bit wobbly and sometimes falls out causing the device to discharge and shut down.
