If your buying this Module, please be aware there are two types of Datasheet (ILI9225 and ILI9225B). Be sure to use the ILI9225B Datasheet which includes updated register information. I made the mistake of using the ILI9225 (preliminary) Datasheet which is pretty useless. I now have this module up and running and the display is very good. Hope this info helps :)

I have had two of these now, the original and a replacement. They were both faulty in exactly the same way so it is obviously some kind of manufacturing defect. Specifically, there is some kind of problem with the way the ribbon cable from the screen attaches to the circuit board because the screen only comes on if you wiggle it about and the slightest touch and it goes off again. Completely unusable.
