This is a comfortable collection cup for milk. I was hopping it had a little suction it doesn’t really. I knew it would be strong like the original Hakka but I was hopeful it would be enough suction to get my let down to flow it does not. I tried using this on the opposite side baby was nursing from (much like you would with a regular Hakka) and I was unable to collect anything. It has very mild suction and perhaps it would work for some ladies but it did not work for me.

Only 3 stars, because this just simply will not work for me, so I am returning.I am pregnant with my second child and produce a lot of milk at night. I used the normal haakaa with my first, but only discovered it late on. I thought that this was a wonderful idea that I could pop in my bra at night whilst I am feeding off the other breast. But sadly, the product is just too small for a large breasted woman. I just know that based on the position of the hole, it is going to fill way past my nipple and then when I try to get the thing off, I am going to spill milk all over my bed in the middle of the night.I didn’t want to leave one star, as it is a good idea, made well and I imagine it will be fantastic for some women. But just not for me.

During sleep:- Since I use these while I sleep, I've never woken up to wet sheets anymore!- You need to use them inside a bra or a tight nightgown, otherwise they will come off the breast when you move during sleep, even if you use the suction mode.- it's not perfect because my nightgown many times still gets wet during the night but it's still the best solution I found and at least the bed sheet stays dry and clean- I manage to catch a bit of milk during sleep which my husband later feeds the baby with a bottle (so that I can sleep a bit longer). Note: I only use the caught milk because I wake up every few hours to feed the baby and put the colected milk in the fridge- Tip: Don't use the suction mode at night. It's too much time, I don't think it's healthy and it leaves marks on your breasts. Besides you will collect almost the same amount of milk as by just puting the cups between your breast and your bra and the cups will still come out of place sometimes with the suction mode, so even though you won't wet your nightgown as much, it will still happen sometimes, therefore not worth the disadvantages in my opinion.Suction function:- I wouldn't recommend using the suction function. It hurts, it leaves marks on the breasts, it doesn't collect as much milk as the normal haakaa pump and it comes off the breast easier than the normal haakaa pump- it is however possible to use the cups without a bra and completely topless if you use the suction function. I even managed to do the laundry topless without them falling off.- if you want to use the suction function, I would recommend placing your nipple facing down so that the nipple end is not squeezed against the cup, otherwise not much milk will come outBreastfeeding:- for breastfeeding the normal haakaa pump is much better as it has a higher capacity, colects more milk, stays in place better and can be used topless without coming off as easily when the baby moves- if you want to use the cups while breastfeeding you need to use them inside a bra, otherwise the baby will knock them off- even inside a bra, they won't stay 100% in place because the baby will move them out of place a bitDuring the day inside a bra:- In comparison with other milk saving cups, I find these ones better because they are softer and mold better to the breast so they feel better and collect milk better than the normal milk saving cups- however, like with the other milk saving cups, these are very bulky so you need to use them inside a large bra or they won't fit- also, to wear them on the street you can't use a fitted top, you need to use something wide, otherwise you will definetly see them through the clothes, as they are as bulky as the other milk saving cups out there- at home I don't think it makes sense using them as I prefer to be topless allowing my nipples to heal without anything on them. When I start noticing milk coming off, I put on the normal haakaa pump as it stays in place better, can be used without a bra and collects more milk.In general:- you should lean forward before removing the cups from the breast, otherwise you might spill some milk- the hole and its cover on the top of the cups are really well made. When the cover is on, the hole is really leakproof and even after using the cups several times the covers still open and close very well (since they are made of silicone I was expecting them to stop closing properly after a while)- These cups are pricey and you need to buy 2 as in Europe they don't sell the 2 pack yet.- However they are of good quality and are the best solution I could find to keep my bed sheet dry and clean while I sleep- As a bonus I manage to catch a bit of milk while I sleep- So I would definitely buy them again!
