At 2 metres by 2 metres this is a good sized square sheet over 6 foot by 6 foot so 36 square foot plus.Feels more solid / thicker than previous plastic sheets that we have used for general Do-It-Yourself jobs; this one so far we have used as a room sheet when stripping wallpaper and painting interior bedroom walls; we've used it as a backdrop when spray painting some large drawers; and we've used it as a weatherproof cover when transporting some chairs on the car roof and so far it has stood up to all of those jobs without a problem.No tears in it so far suggesting it is actually tougher than other plastic sheets that we have used for DIY work.

Just what I needed-I need to dig a small hole in my garden and needed some plastic to put soil on. This was perfect and just what I needed. It's a 2M by 2M square and costs £8-Short and simple. Cheaper than buying a big roll when I only need a small amount

The plastic sheet is a decent thickness for cover without being too thick causing stiffness when in use but not too thin to be useless. This would be perfect for covering weeds, covering things outside in the garden etc. Its a real shame that (see picture) it comes in a plastic bag in another plastic bag and its a plastic sheet !

This heavy duty polythene plastic sheeting came as 2m x 2m as ordered and seemed to be a decent thickness and quality for this to protect many things from dust, liquid etc. This one has many uses for garden, decorating, building work and many more and although this claims to be puncture resistant it can be punctured if you try hard to do it but as a protector this would last better than some I have used in the past.This one also says it is heat resistant and resistant to low temperatures so should be great to use for plants and the current price of £7.99 seems to be ok, Overall I was happy with this for what I wanted and it did protect just as I wanted so I do think it is a good product.

This polythene sheet comes folded in a pack, and is exactly what I was expecting. It is of medium thickness, and therefore not translucent - you can read through it. I would say the gauge is similar to that used to wrap packs of 2l water bottles. It is fairly tough, and won't puncture easily, but you can push a finger through it if you try hard. For general use, it's a good compromise between protection and weight/cost. I wanted to use it to wrap a rolled 2.5 x 3.5 metre rug, but this size is obviously too small. Pythagoras suggested that it could work diagonally, but it's still not long enough, so I cut it in half and welded the two sections using the iron reviewed elsewhere. This was tricky-due to its thinness, and tendency to burn through quickly, but better, I think than tape.This is very useful general-purpose polythene sheeting. The 2m x2m piece costs £7.99 including delivery. The gauge of this size is not stated, and it's not clear if the larger sizes are the same material, and why there are two almost identical versions of the larger size, but either seems to offer somewhat better value, having three times the area.
