Pros:-Large arbor of 9.5cm-Solid construction overall-Semi caged (bottom half of reel where it matters) as you can see in pictures so will stop tippet pass when tight line/euro nymphing.-Weight = 165g. Not the lightest but a pro because good for balancing out euro rod.-screws can't come loose. I've had reels where on the water the screws holding the reel seat or handle come loose. For the cruise the reel seat is part of the reels overall construction and the handle is embedded into the reel nicely on the inside edge of the reel.-metal spool release knob and drag dial.-reel seat fits nicely on rod.-drag dial has a reverse thread screw holding it in place and is not secured like some reels do with tightened grub screws on the edges which I've had slip and loosen over time.Cons:Drag itself is smooth but the clicker makes it less so as it spins over indents. This, however, should get better with frequent use as clicker wears in. This has been the case with other reels, which after some use, smoothen out better.

Good reel that is all you need in a fly reel. It feels well made, drag is nicely adjustable and it fits to the flyrod well. I have not done too much fishing with it but, I feel that it will last a long time.It seems to be a sensible choice, not flashy - I would struggle to justify spending any more.

This is sleek and slim. Feels durable and constructed well. Drag was pretty smoothe. Didn't have major problems once we figured it out

Bought as my 1st fly reel and I'm very impressed!The reel is on the heavy side but this makes it feel solid and high quality. The clicking ratchet sounds refined and is not annoying like some other reels... The drag has plenty of adjustment and is easy to dial in to the setting you want.My only negative is that there is a tiny gap where the cassette fits into the frame and sometimes the line can get caught in it... Not a problem if you manage your line well but for a beginner this isn't always the case haha...For the money I couldn't find anything cheaper than was from a reputable brand... You can get the CNC Chinese ones for this price but I didn't want to risk it.Very happy, love greys always served me well and this was no exception....

Trout and salmon opening season is right around the corner. Can't wait to try this out up in the Sierras. Paired this up with my 5/6 Okuks Crimson fly rod.There are two ball bearing for the clutch action and not sure if the drag is felt or carbon but when I took the reel off, e erything was well lubed with a water resistant grease and even with the drag crank down the reel still hold it weight and the drag is super smooth.No complaints whatsoever with this reel and I really like the action and drag of the reel. Can't wait try this out on the waters.Great product and I recommend this reel for anyone who's starting or collect fly fishing.
