Cat really likes them, runs up to me when I pick his tablets up now because he’s excited for the treat. They are quite chewy so I think he’s distracted by that and doesn’t notice the tablet inside. It’s made giving tablets very easy and I will definitely use them again.

DIe Idee ist gut, aber leider ist es - zumindest für unsere Katze - nicht lecker. Sie probiert es nicht mal :-( (Wir haben es zunächst ohne Tablette getestet), ja riecht nicht mal interessiert daran. Für uns also leider ein Flop. Haben es an eine Katzenauffangstation verschenkt, vielleicht schmeckt es dort jemandem.

Mit diesen Poll Pockets bekomme auch ich endlich Tabletten, die im Ganzen genommen werden sollen, mühelos in meine Katze.

Werden vom Kater zu 80% angenommen, zu 20 % verschmäht.Teuer, jetzt kamen bei 2 Packungen noch 7,16€ Zollgebühr (kommen aus den USA) dazu ....

An Trojanern haben wir alles durch, was es auf dem Markt gibt. Meistens akzeptieren nicht alle Katzen alle Produkte. Jede hat ihren "Lieblingstrojaner". Die Greenies sind schön weich und werden von einem Kater sehr gern angenommen. Dieser hat bisher Alfavet & Co. verschmäht. Wir dachten: Einen Versuch ist es wert und bestellten die Greenies. Das war goldrichtig: Das Tablettengeben klappte sehr gut. Alternativ wird aber auch Vitaminpaste von Gimcat sehr gerne genommen.

After reading the mixed reviews for these I wasn’t sure if they were going to work for us or not, but I thought I would give them a try, as I have never been able to give a cat a pill successfully in the past and have usually had to tend my wounds after the attempt.In short, these work great for us, and are a lifesaver! Our cat needed to start taking a twice daily thyroid pill for life, and I really thought it was going to be impossible to do that, but we hid the pill in one of these and gave it to her with a few temptations treats and she wolfed it down without any idea there was a pill in there. We have now been using them for close to a month and they are still working just as well. They do smell a bit gross, kind of like old chicken that’s been in the fridge a while, but our cat seems to think they are just great, so…..🤷🏻♂️We also use a tip that was mentioned in one of the reviews I read which is to use a pair of tweezers to put the pill into the treat so you don’t get the smell of the pill on your fingers and then transfer it to the treat when you close it up around the pill. I’m not sure if our cat would notice but it seems like a good way to do it, just in case. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -UPDATE: Well, no sooner had I submitted the review above, than our cat suddenly decided she didn’t like these any more and turned her nose up when offered one (with pill hidden inside). Cats can be fickle, as we all know. 😏 We then switched to hiding the pill pocket with pill in some canned food which our cat cleaned up with great gusto, including the pill pocket. This has been working so far since then, so it is currently how we are using them. I will update this review if this changes. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -UPDATE April 2022: Still using these successfully, hidden in some canned food which seems to be the answer for us. Works well most days, while our cat has discovered the pill one or two times, most of the time she wolfs everything down with no clue the pill is in there. Recommend these.

Da sich unsere Katzen nichts von Hand ins Maul geben lassen müssen wir etwas tricksen. Das funktioniert mit den Pill Pockets wirklich ausgezeichnet. Einfach die Tablette in etwas Pill Pocket drücken und der Katze hinlegen und schon ist - zumindest bei uns - die Tablette in der Katze.Der Preis ist allerdings viel zu hoch, aber notgedrungen zahlen wir ihn. Man kann ruhig die Pill Pockets auseinanderziehen und nur einen Teil einer Pocket nutzen falls die Tablette nicht so groß ist. Die Konsistenz ist wie Knete, man kann die danach einfach zusammendrücken. So kann man sich etwas Geld sparen wenn man eben keine ganze Pocket pro Tablette nimmt.Unsere Katzen essen die gerne, der Geschmack scheint also gut zu sein.Falls diese Bewertung nützlich für Sie war würde ich mich über einen Klick auf den entsprechenden Button freuen.

si sa dare una pastiglia a Micio è una cosa complicata ...loro con la loro intelligenza e sensibilità capiscono subito il trucco. Io DOVEVO dare una pastiglia ad uno dei miei, il meno malleabile ed ero veramente disperata! Per puro caso fortunato ho scoperto l'esistenza di questo gran prodottoche è molto appetibile e plasmabile e in cui si nasconde facilmente il farmaco per la salute di MICIO. Grandissima idea!!!! Consigliatissimo

Der Gedanke ist gut, allerdings werden diese “Leckerlis“ nicht angenommen. Die Tabletten lassen sich gut in die weiche Masse einarbeiten. Allerdings ist die Masse geruchsneutral und animiert die Katzen nicht, die zu fressen. Zudem wird sie, wenn man die Masse unter Zwang ins Maul steckt, aufgrund der Größe zerbissen. Dadurch bemerkten die Katze das Medikament und spuckten alles wieder aus.Rinderhackfleisch und Leberwurst werden besser angenommen und sind um einiges günstiger.

Nach der Diagnose Schilddrüsenüberfunktion braucht unsere Katze jetzt täglich eine Tablette. Nach quälerischen Versuchen unserer Katze mit einem Tablettenspender eine Tablette täglich zu verabreichen, kam der Tip von unserer Urlaubskatzensitterin. Die Greenies waren vom ersten Tag an eine riesige Erleichterung. Unsere Katze scheint den Geschmack zu lieben, sie freut sich jeden Tag darauf und fordert ihre Tabletteneingabe regelrecht ein. Der Preis, na ja, aber die Tablette kostet auch einen Euro pro Stück, da sind die Cents für die Pill pockets verkraftbar. Insbesondere weil man vorher nie sicher sein konnte, ob die Katze die Tablette wirklich gheschluckt hat oder doch noch Minuten später sie irgendwo in die Ecke gespuckt hat. Mit den Pill Pockets ist die Einnahme sicher und der Katze geht es jetzt auch viel besser, die Blutwerte sind wunderbar.

Als ich erfuhr, dass ich meiner Katze über mehrere Wochen Tabletten geben muss, taten sich mir Alpträume auf. Was hatten wir nicht schon alles probiert? In oder zwischen diversem Futter versteckt, mittels Pilleneinflösser in Spritzenform, was immer einer halben Vergewaltigung gleich kam, die berühmte Leberwurst, und und und. Nix half. Bis jetzt! Denn von diesen PillPockets bin ich absolut begeistert! Weich genug, um die Pille oder Kapsel wie Knete ummanteln zu können, aber dennoch hart und stabil genug, dass die Katze das Leckerli nicht gleich sofort abschleckt und die Tablette übrig bleibt. Tabletten nehmen klappt seitdem tadellos und bereitet mir keine Horrorszenarien mehr. Klare Empfehlung! Katzen sind verrückt nach den Pockets und Anwendung super. Einzig die Verpackung muss von Amazon geändert werden: wurde bis jetzt immer in einer flachen Versandtasche geliefert, wodurch die Pockets während des Versandprozesses oft zerquetscht werden.

With 5 older cats, there's always someone who needs medication. There is no way I can "pill" a cat by myself. My vet may intimidate the cats, but as for me, they just run under the bed when they see me coming! Enter Pill Pockets, the greatest thing since, well, you know. Hide the pill inside, put it in front of the cat (or dog, if using dog version) and watch the pet devour it. Sometimes they even look around for more! I don't care to taste it myself, but judging from the reaction of my cats, these must really be good! If I have a small pill, or half a pill, I use half a pocket to save money. One cat in the bunch won't eat anything without liver powder on it, (Feline Instincts.com), so I roll his pill pocket in the liver powder. He gobbles it down. What a time saver compared to crushing a pill in their food, or chasing them all over the house to try to give them a pill. This will be the best purchase you will ever make for your pets!
