To be used as a small beach/travel tote. Lots of pockets, some zippered. Structured bottom. I bought it to be hands free (crossbody strap).

PRO:PERFECT SIZE, not too big. Slightly silky nylon collapses reasonably flat so that I am happy to carry it (instead of switching to smaller bag) every day even if I don’t have a lot to carry. Not a luxury product but no loose threads. Feels light but sturdy and not about to fall apart.IT FITS MY 15” LAPTOP. I can juuuust get my 15” Lenovo laptop inside, without risking breaking the zipper or seams. There’s not enough room to put the laptop in a protective sleeve and then put it inside. But if the bag were that big, I wouldn’t be happy carrying it everyday for every outing. Could definitely hold a 13” laptop in a protective sleeve.The pockets are perfect. One outside zip pocket for my phone (most similar bags’ outer pockets aren’t zipped and then my phone falls out when leaning over to attend to little kids). Inside, there’s a main compartment with two small-ish open patch pockets. Then there is a kind of divider that is made out of a medium sized zipper pocket that also sections off about 15-20% of the bag’s interior volume—that sectioned off open space is perfect for my glasses case and sunglasses case. That good sized zipper pocket is great for pens, pad of sticky notes, etc. Then it has the typical small zipper pocket along the side for the most holy emergency back-up items (chapstick, hairband, etc). I like having two interior zipper pockets so I can separate the classes of small precious cargo.CON (not actually too bad)Yes it smells when first opened. BUT you can ignore complaints about the smell—I have a very sensitive nose, and swear the weird ‘out of the package’ smell dissipates within a day (I’ve purchased two of these).I wish the metal tabs on the zippers didn’t look so cheap. I wish a more mid-range or cool brand made this bag. I would pay LeSportsac or Cotopaxi or some hip Instagram-advertising brand $90 for this bag with a cooler design on the zipper pulls and more interesting colors.The crossbody strap also could be a bit better, it’s a bit slippery so I feel like it doesn’t always stay at that length I set, and the metal adjuster can dig a bit if not positioned properly, but it’s not terrible.I wish it were a few ounces lighter, but still way lighter than every other similar option I looked at.If I ever actually finished projects, I’d buy some notions and redo the zipper pulls in grosgrain inan accent color and swap in a matching slightly sturdier crossbody strap. As it stands, I’m stock piling these in every color. I’ve been carrying it every day for a few weeks now and have no regrets.

I love it. It's well made with plenty of room inside. The color is great also.

Recently purchased for trip to Europe. Able to use as a shoulder purse and as crossbody bag. Bag can expand to more of a tote shape vs. purse. Plenty of compartments with and without zippers to hide more valuable items from potential pickpockets. Two zippered compartments inside. One zippered compartment outside. Entire bag zips closed. Big enough to hold a water bottle and rolled up sweater along with wallet, papers, phone bank, power cords, phone, etc. Perfect for travel.
