Ich schreibe selten Bewertungen, weil ich generell ungerne schreibe. Aber dieses Mal muss ich einfach über diesen PC berichten, weil ich einfach nur begeistert bin.Ich habe den GMKtec NucBox G3 Plus als Geschenk für meinen Vater gekauft, da durch das Windows 10-Ende, zwangsweise ein neuer PC her musste, obwohl der alte noch ausreichend funktional gewesen wäre. Und nein, für manche ältere Menschen ist ein inoffizielles Windows 11 oder Linux leider keine Alternative. Dieser Mini-PC ist der vierte, den ich gekauft habe (alle bislang von GMKtec) aber der erste über Amazon.Zur Amazon Bestellung muss ich nicht viel sagen. Einfacher Bestellvorgang, schnelle Lieferung, alles Prime äh prima, wie meistens. Die Besonderheit war, dass ich gerade zum Zeitpunkt der Zustellung, nicht anwesend war und der Amazon-Fahrer das Paket nur dann an meinen Nachbarn herausgeben konnte, nachdem ich dem Fahrer per Telefon einen Code genannt hatte, den ich wiederum über die Amazon App in den Nachrichten erhalten habe. War für mich neu aber eine super Sache, um eine sichere Zustellung zu garantieren.Wie bereits erwähnt besitze ich noch 3 andere Mini-PCs (1x GMKtec NucBox G3, 1x GMKtec NucBox G3 Plus und 1x den NucBox K6), die ich bei anderen PC Shops gekauft habe. Das Angebot war bei Amzon aber dieses Mal so gut, da musste ich zuschlagen und die Lieferung war deutlich schneller als bei den anderen Händlern.Nun aber zum PC und warum ich davon so begeistert bin. Die Aussagen treffen eigentlich auf alle 3 Varianten zu. Der G3 und der G3 Plus unterscheiden sich sowieso nur im Prozessor, wobei der G3 Plus mit dem Intel N150 ungefähr 25% schneller ist, als der G3 mit dem N100. Ich habe im Freundeskreis mittlerweile einige Mini-PCs von anderen Firmen gesehen, aber die GMKtec PCs haben mich im Vergleich einfach immer wieder überzeugt.Die PCs werden beim GMKtec in einer kleinen Verpackung mit Netzteil und HDMI Kabel sehr gut geschützt und für mich auch optisch ansprechend verpackt. Das Gehäuse des PCs ist zwar nur aus Plastik, fühlt sich aber stabil und hochwertig an. Die Verarbeitung ist toll. Keine scharfen Kanten, nichts wackelt, alles perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Die PCs sind angenehm klein und leicht und passen problemlos auf eine Hand. Was mir besonders gefällt, dass das Gehäuse ganz einfach und ohne Werkzeug geöffnet werden kann, da der Deckel oben nur aufgesteckt ist. Dennoch sitzt der Deckel fest und sicher drauf. Von Hause aus werden bei den PCs 2,5 Gbit LAN Anschlüsse verbaut. Ein nettes Feature, da man sich einen USB Adapter sparen kann und im Jahre 2025, 2,5 Gbit nun wirklich zum Standard gehören. Generell sind die GMKtec PCs mit 4 USB 3.2 (2 vorne und 2 hinten) und 2 HDMI Anschlüssen gut und für mich völlig ausreichend ausgestattet. Die NucBox G3 oder G3 Plus sind ja auch nur für den Alltag mit Office und Email bzw. Internetnutzung gedacht. Und dafür sind sie ausreichend schnell und das bei gerade mal 6 bis 10 Watt Verbrauch! Ich kann die G3 oder G3 Plus Serie die ganze Woche und Volllast durchlaufen lassen und verbrauche immer noch weniger als mit meinem alten Office-PC an einem Tag im normalen Betrieb. Die PCs laufen bei mir auch alle stabil. Es gab keine Abstütze oder sonstige Probleme. Ich habe meinen G3 Plus noch mit einem 32GB DDR4 Modul, das ich auch hier bei Amazon vor eine Weile im Angebot gekauft hatte, aufgerüstet und bin sehr zufrieden. Auch mit den standardmäßigen 8GB lässt es sich arbeiten aber ich empfehle die 16GB oder 32GB, das ist dann doch angenehmer. Und bei den NucBox G3s ist das Austauschen von SSD, oder Ram wirklich einfach gemacht. Die G3s sind zudem angenehm leise. Die meiste Zeit ist der Lüfter aus und man hört nicht, dass er an ist. Nur wenn Windows wieder seine Updates zieht oder man wirklich Leistung zieht, dann kann man den eingebauten Lüfter überhaupt hören.Wo sich die GMKtec PCs noch von der Konkurrenz absetzen, ist die Vielfalt an Einstellungsmöglichkeiten im (natürlich UEFI) BIOS. Hier hab ich auch schon einige Produkte von anderen Herstellern gesehen, die kaum Auswahlmöglichkeiten bieten und das geht bei mir gar nicht.Wichtiger Hinweis: Wer einen PC mit SSD bestellt und Windows dazu geliefert bekommt, der Windows-Key ist NICHT im BIOS gespeichert. Sichert Euch das Windows also gut ab, wenn ihr den PC einrichtet. Muss Windows neu installiert werden, ist der Key weg!Was ist mir negativ aufgefallen? Die Temperatur muss erwähnt werden. Die G3s werden nicht übermäßig heiß, sodass man Sorge haben müsste sich zu verbrennen oder dass das Gehäuse schmilzt. Aber sie werden doch sehr spürbar warm, wenn sie länger oder unter Last in Betrieb sind. Bitte achtet also darauf, sie so zu positionieren, dass sie ausreichend Abluft geben können. Man kann die G3s auch mit dem beiliegenden VESA Adapter (einer Metallplatte) an z.B. dem Monitor hinten befestigen, wenn der dafür ausgelegt ist.Im Ergebnis kann ich nur sagen: Im Preis– Leistungsverhältnis, habe ich noch nichts Besseres gefunden. Ich bin von den Dingern total begeistert und wenn ich irgendwann wieder einen Mini-PC brauche, schaue ich als erstes, ob es bei GMKtec ein passendes Modell für mich gibt, das ich dann mit dem Markt vergleichen kann.Ich hoffe, dass ich Euch mit meiner nun dann doch etwas ausführlicheren Beschreibung, einen guten Überblick über die GMKtec G3 Serie geben konnte und warum ich diese PCs anderen vorziehe. Ich hätte mich jedenfalls geärgert, wenn ich ein schlechteres Produkt gekauft hätte, weil ich keine ausreichenden Informationen über die Unterschiede vorliegen hatte.

Mi unidad era de 16 GB de RAM y 512 GB de SSD que estaba en oferta a 189 EUR.Primeras impresiones: El embalaje es muy bueno, imitando a Apple con sus materiales en su mayoría reciclables - cartón y papel, pero sólido y compacto. También viene con un cable HDMI que me parece muy bien. También un soporte VESA, y en caso de que te estés preguntando cómo usarlo, GMKTec tiene un vídeo en su página web para mostrar cómo se usa, aunque por supuesto es bastante sencillo.El G3 me sorprendió cuando abrí la caja porque es realmente mini y muy ligero. Tengo otro mini-pc, un GMKTec NucBox K8, que parece un gigante en comparación y he compartido algunas fotos. Escondido detrás de un monitor en su soporte VESA apenas te darías cuenta de que está ahí.El PC viene instalado con Windows 11 Pro 23H2. No hay bloatware en absoluto, aparte del software habitual de Windows incluido que voy a desinstalar lo antes posible. Viene configurado para que no tengas que tener o crear una cuenta Microsoft para usar el PC, sólo un simple usuario local, lo cual está bien. Lo único que hay que advertir es que hay que realizar una actualización de Windows de inmediato, ya que Windows se instaló el 17 de enero de 2025 y me lo entregaron en abril de 2025, pero no es gran cosa. Algunos programas como WinGet, que utilizo casi exclusivamente para instalar software, no funcionaban hasta que el proceso de actualización de Windows había terminado.Potenciado por el Intel N150, tengo la intención de utilizar esto como un NAS / servidor multimedia y streaming principalmente. La CPU es lo suficientemente buena para el trabajo general de oficina de Windows y la navegación web / Youtube, etc. No he tenido problemas con él creando partituras en Musescore Studio. Lo he utilizado para tareas más exigentes como la producción de audio en Reaper incluyendo el procesamiento de grandes Sample Libraries Kontakt en cuatro pistas y se las arregla bien con eso. Esto fue una sorpresa para mi ya que no pensaba que se las arreglaría bien con la orquestación de Sample library.La otra sorpresa agradable es que el G3 es extremadamente silencioso en general. Básicamente silencioso la mayor parte del tiempo en mi experiencia. Esto lo hace ideal para la grabación de audio en directo en el estudio. Los únicos momentos en los que el PC es audible es cuando el ventilador entra en funcionamiento cuando la CPU está bajo carga al 80-100%, lo que ocurre cuando se cargan aplicaciones como Edge por primera vez con varias pestañas abiertas. Pero pronto se vuelve a silenciar. Será mi PC principal para grabar voces, ya que no tengo una cabina aislada para los intérpretes y este PC significa que no tendré ningún sangrado de audio en mis grabaciones.Aunque viene con Windows 11, instalaré Linux Fedora o MX como segundo sistema operativo.Creo que por 190 EUR, en el mismo rango que un rasberry PI con su caja de sobremesa pero actualizable a 32GB RAM, y con una CPU más potente es un buen negocio.Para las necesidades de la mayoría de la gente, desde un servidor NAS/Media hasta un PC para deberes o para estudiantes con juegos ligeros, pasando por una estación de trabajo para desarrolladores/codificación (Visual Studio, etc.) o una producción de audio ligera, este PC satisfará tus necesidades a un precio excelente.He comprobado muchos PC de esta clase y precio y este destaca por su precio. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

Really good PC for the price,

Basically, I tried to do everything I could to test this unit and see if it stumbled in any way. I have not been able to make it stumble so I am very pleased with this purchase. I love the small size and because of it I may just keep components in several places and just transport the small box as my portable computer. It has plenty of power for the type of work I do, which is normal homeowner type of uses. It has all the ports I could use or anticipate needing. It has a DP Port (Display Port) which is used to string multiple monitors together. I haven’t considered this in the past, but may in the future and it will be nice to have the option with this machine. Some of the USB ports I’m using could be freed up by using Bluetooth components.I would recommend this computer for people looking for an alternative to laptops or towers and the price is right considering what you get. It also appears to me that upgrading to larger RAM and Storage may not be necessary as the cloud appears to be taking over. I upgraded my other mini to larger RAM and a 1 terabit drive. But after using this unit I’m not sure it is necessary. All in all I can’t say anything negative about the unit. I’m very pleased!Keep reading for additional detailed description.This is my second minicomputer from GMKtec. I purchased one about 1 year ago. It worked well but the SSD crashed. The company worked with me, and I was able to replace the SSD, and rebuild the software and it has been working ever since. So, they have been responsive and stand behind their products.I had a need for a second computer so spotted this and decided to give it a chance. The unit came nicely packaged and intact. All the items listed were in the package as advertised. The difference with the minicomputer is that all the peripherals are not included. I have many of the peripherals so it is not an issue for me but be aware that if you don’t you need a monitor (I’m using a small TV I had), a keyboard (I bought a $13 USB one) and a mouse (I already had one).After acquiring the components, you literally just plug the components in and turn it on. The first thing you notice is how fast the screen comes up. Remember when you would turn your computer on then go get some coffee and hope it was up and running? Not so here it is a fast boot up.It went through some introductory screens and askes you some questions. The only one that gave me hesitation was the password one. It turns out this is to log into the computer every time you turn it on. So, make that a simple one to remember. I didn’t but went in to change it later.It comes loaded with Microsoft Windows 11After that I started downloading software and Apps, all the ones that I use. I had no difficulty or problems with any of them. I connected it wirelessly through my home router with no difficulty. It comes with the latest wifi-6. I’m connected with 2.4 GHz channel and get 55 Mbps download and 33.42 Mbps upload. I know this depends on your systems but shows that there is plenty of speed.The minicomputer unit is 1.5 inches high and 3 3/8 inches square (see picture). Plenty of USB ports and if necessary, you can put a USB expander in one port. I used the headphones jack to listen to some music and connected my Bluetooth ear buds also both worked with a hitch and there is no lag or distortion. The package also comes with an angle support so you can hang it on the back of the monitor. This cleans up the area and make the monitor appear to be an all in one.I loaded Microsoft 365, a mechanical drawing program, iTunes and quicken and used them thinking that they may put the unit to a test for speed and any potential problems. There were none and it performed flawlessly.I have some “sleep” issues with the other unit, but this unit goes to sleep and wakes up with no issues even if left for a long period and with the monitor disconnected.Another improvement I noticed was that they have changed the way they screw the cover on. On my previous unit you had to remove the rubber feet to access the screws, and this will eventually cause problems with them coming off. This newer unit has the screws accessible trough the feet. This is much better for those looking to do any upgrading.
