I looked for a new electric cooktop for several months. Lowe's kept delaying and then canceling my orders. Always saying they were sold out and couldn't get them. They would not honor the sale prices of my purchases. Finally had 2 in stock and they were BOTH broken in the same place! I finally got so frustrated with them that I came looking on Amazon!I read the reviews and researched Jessier because I had never heard of the company! I have ZERO regrets in my purchase!!!Installation was easy! They heat up faster than my old Whirlpool. It looks absolutely beautiful! And I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the 5th burner. There are two burners that can cook two different sizes. You can heat one, or both sections. This is awesome!

I was reluctant to buy. I stopped off at Menards to compare. I actually wanted to buy from Menards since that where I bought the last cooktop, and I would be able to take it home now. The cheapest they had was over 1K. The guy explained sales the named brand (Whirlpool) and the Jessier was a cheap knockoff. Well... The Whirlpool was also the brand I was replacing and to be fair it is/was 20 years old. We had a issue soon after purchase having the corner brake leaving us with an ugly glued corner. Within the last year a burner quit working and the lock feature seemed to activate by itself. To reset I had to go and flip the breaker. Our Jessier is now installed, and it is beautiful and functions wonderfully. For almost 5 times less the price of the "name brand" I am extremely happy with this purchase. Considering how easy it was to install if we get a quarter of the use out of this as the last one, I'll consider it a win. I expect it will last much longer.
