Ce GPS, acheté le 7 juin 2023 a cessé de fonctionner le 4 mai 2024, sans aucune raison. Il a duré moins d'un an. Il est important de pouvoir compter sur un GPS lorsqu'on s'apprête à partir en voyage.Avec nos regrets

Altes Kartenmaterial, auch nach update keine Änderung-Unbrauchbar da neue Straßen (3 Jahre alt) komplett fehlen!

Es ist schlicht eintfach somit edel.Was schwarz in der Modewelt ist ist dieses Navi für dentäglichen Gebrauch dh schlicht und edel.

Das Navi macht einen guten Eindruck, muss es aber noch ausführlich "im Einsatz" testen.Einzig das update vom Kartenmaterial war wirklich nervig! Mir wurde unter Garmin express (haha... 6Mb) keinerlei update angeboten.Ich habe daraufhin Garmin kontaktiert. Dort musste das Gerät zuerst auf meinen Account umgeschrieben werden. Das verstehe ich zwar nicht, aber danach hat dann alles geklappt.

Once you get over the issues with setting this up for the first time, it all seems to work okay. Compared to my old satnav, it has lots of useful extras and it was a good price as I got a refurbished one. Setting it up was a bit of a nightmare though, so it loses points for ease of use based on that.Issues with setting up- It doesn't charge from the computer cable, so you may need to take it for a drive to get it charged up before you can update it.- There was no user manual, so you have to look online to find out what to do.- Finding the website to download Garmin Express wasn't a major issue, but the instructions for updating and downloading software/maps were incorrect. Connect your satnav to Garmin Express and it goes through the first part of the process okay (thankfully it took minutes rather than the 6 hours stated on screen). However, if you follow the given instructions for the second part of the process you end up in an endless loop of agreeing to install updates but it never actually happening. The onscreen instructions (seen on computer) tell you to disconnect the device for 5 seconds and then reconnect it to your computer to download the maps to the device. This does not work! I was almost at the point of sending the satnav back as this failed multiple times for me... until I finally stumbled on the solution. The simple solution to this: disconnect the the satnav, wait 5 seconds and then press the power button on the satnav (do not reconnect it to your computer) - the maps were update in seconds and I was then able to use the satnav. It took me several hours to get to this point, so I hope this helps anyone else that has the same problem.Have only used it a couple of times (didn't need to but wanted to test it out). Audio/visual seem clear and its fairly easy to use. Can't comment on much else yet as have only had it a couple of days. May update review later if I remember.

es funktioniert das ist schon mal gut jedoch ist das kartenmaterial schlecht bis neuere baugebiete mit eingefügt werden dauert es viel zulange deshalb nehme ich oft google maps da gehts. die bereiche sind Würzburg mit umkreis.

Habe dieses "rundum-erneuerte" Navi gekauft. Nach 1 Stunde gebrauch ist mir aufgefallen dass das Touchscreen flackert, die Batterie scheint auch defekt zusein, weil sobald man ihn von der Strom Quelle abzieht geht er aus, obwohl in den Einstellungen was anderes eingestellt wurde. Alles andere funktioniert wie angegeben.

Die Navis von Garmin sind meiner Meinung bei weitem die aller besten auf dem Markt.Es ist sehr übersichtlich, die Eingabe geht super schnell, Die Karten sind immer aktuell es erkennt sogar wenn man falsch in eine Einbahnstraße einfährt und gibt alarm. Es kennt Ampeln, stopschilder, Geschwindigkeiten...

Nun nachdem mein 13 Jahre altes Navi von Navigon keine Kartenupdates mehr bekommt, hab ich mir das Garmin Drive 51 LMT-S EU ausgesucht und bestellt.Klar die Bedienung ist etwas anders aber okay, zB werden nur 2 Routenvorschläge gemacht und die "Zwischenstopps" auf einer Route sollen über die Karte eingegeben werden (ich habe nix anderes dazu gefunden) ergo unpraktisch!Doch das eigentliche Problem war die Verbindung per Bluetooth mit dem Smartphone. Die erste Einrichtung verlief fast problemlos. Die gemachte Probefahrt war gut, es wurden die Baustellen und die Blitzer auf der Stecke angemahnt! Am nächsten Tag vor dem Start am Smartphone Bluetooth und GPS an geschaltet und rein ins Auto , Navi an und den "Smartphone Link" Button gedrückt und auf die automatische Verbindung gehofft, Smartphone ist verbunden aber der Smartphone Service nicht! (siehe Bild) Auch mit manueller HIlfe übers Menü nicht dazu zu bewegen. Ägerlich, wenn man mit dem Auto los will.Auch das zurücksetzen des Navis via Softreset brachte nix. Ein Hardreset hab ich nicht hinbekommen.Natürlich hab ich auch die App mehrmals deinstalliert und wieder installiert. Es ging nicht oder es kommt die Meldung "eine bidirektionale Verbindung nich möglich" - ergo ärgerlich. Wenn man in der Bewertung der App sieht, dann geht es anderen Nutzern ebenso. Für mich als Nutzer sieht es eher so aus als gibt es ein Softwareproblem in der App.Deshalb hab ich das Navi zurückgegeben.

Extremely happy with this item! I had an old Garmin that my daughter gave me years ago & needed an update!This one is excellent & so much clearer with instructions,especially with showing you clearly which lane to be in when exiting motorway & correctly which exit to take!
