We and especially our cats are really in love with this cat food dispenser❤️! The control through the Pooeken app and the connectivity to WIFI makes it really easy to let out food on-the-go (the recorded voice memo is so much fun😄) The dispenser is able to carry large amounts of food, which for our 2 🐈, easily lasts up until 5 to 7 days. Apart from this there are a lot of other great features such as an automated mealplan, a feedback message when food has been dispensed as well as 12 different portion sizes. All in all this cat food dispenser has been a real pleasure in our household! We highly recommend other cat parents🙏

Installation einfach, auf die App kann auch von mehreren Handys zugegriffen werden, sodass auch mein Partner mal eine Zwischenfütterung veranlassen kann. Ansonsten kann man nicht viel einstellen, muss es ja aber auch nicht. Bei uns hält das Gerät für ca. 2 Wochen, so bekommen sie auch mal was zwischendurch, wenn wir arbeiten sind oder morgens schon, ohne dass Theater ist und wer am Wochenende Hunger hat. Für uns ein Gamechanger.

I ordered this mainly because of the ability to remotely feed my cats. Now that companies want people to return to work, I've found that I am once again grudgingly back in the office and can no longer feed my cats during the day. Equally, there are times when I'm delayed getting back or have had to dash out unexpectedly... and of course, there's the times the little so and so's are jumping on the bed at dawn, trying to insist its breakfast!I found this incredibly easy to assemble and didn't need to use the very well-written guidebook (written in multiple languages) and I had the feeder setup and full of biscuits within a couple of minutes. I plugged it in (it's also capable of being battery-operated ) and I quickly realised that the app was used to setup the feeder. The three physical buttons on the front of the feeder are to:(1) Help pair your Wi-Fi (I didn't touch this and managed to pair with no problems)(2) Record a 10-second message which is played when a feed is started(3) Manual feed button (which also locks the controls if pressed for 10 seconds, which is useful for "smart" cats)I was worried about the wi-fi connectivity as I have a BT 2.4 / 5 Mhz Wi-fi router which has caused me problems in the past and I read some reviews saying they had issues. However, I scanned the QR code in the book and downloaded the "Smart Life" app (which is used by many smart devices), and selected "add device". The app found the feeder straight away and connected immediately. I was delighted. A quick press of the app's "feed" button and the feeder poured out biscuits to the delight of my cats who came to indulge in the unexpected feed.Within the app, I renamed the feeder (to "Deliveroo" which made my wife laugh) and quickly set up a feed plan. It looks like you can set as many feeding sessions as you want. Each feeding session can be any time you want and can be any, all or some days of the week. You can also select portion sizes from 1-12 (I set mine to 4 for a lunchtime snack for 2 cats).Have to say I am way more happy with a cat biscuit feeder than I've any right to be! It's great having an app on my phone where I know I can feed my cats from wherever I am. It's something I've wanted a few times but never knew existed. Now if I'm late getting back I can give them a feed and you can be sure that when they are clambering all over me at 5 am tomorrow, I'll be reaching for my phone. I've just bought a "cat snooze" button! Fantastic!You can also share the app with other members of your family to allow them to control it if they need. The app tells you if the device is online and alerts you should it ever lose signal. It also has a low battery warning, which I think is great. The "hopper" and bowl are both detachable and washable and the hopper has a desiccant bag to keep the biscuits dry and odor-free. I think the simple yet effective use of a desiccant bag is a great idea. I use Whiska's biscuits in the feeder and have no issues with those biscuits.My Cat Mate C3000 feeder which I had before this feeder arrived is now being consigned to the bin. This is much easier to use, quieter, looks nicer and who knew I'd ever find using a cat feeder to be fun? :)Just to note, as there are many reviews complaining about the app. The smart life app is used by a wide range of smart devices and is not created by this company. It's been downloaded over 10 million times and has a 4.7 star rating. It works on Android 14 without problem and I've had it working on redmi phones and Samsung. The permissions are pretty standard for this kind of app. I've used it for a number of years without issues.

Besuch nach einem günstigen Futterautomaten Kurz vor unserem Urlaub, Damit unsere Katze auch mittags eine Kleinigkeit bekommt.Für den Preis ein überraschend gutes Gerät. Per WLAN, schnell und problemlos verbunden und die Reaktionszeit der App ist mit nur 2-3 Sekunden Verzögerung ebenfalls mehr als ausreichend. Die Zeit Einstellung funktioniert ebenfalls.Kleines Manko gibt es: Viele Automaten, die dieses Gerät, verfügen über ein Batteriefach. Damit funktioniert das Gerät auch bei Stromausfall. In meinem Fall funktioniert das sogar WLAN, wenn ich den USB Stecker ziehe. Jedoch empfinde ich den Stromverbrauch als unverhältnismäßig. Klar, da kommen Monobatterien rein… Ich verwendete Testweise AA mit einem Adapter. Damit funktioniert das Gerät nur etwas über einen Tag. Ich kenne Andere Geräte wie Wi-Fi, Kameras, die wochenlang auf Stand-by sind. Die hier verbaut. Elektronik verbraucht also deutlich zu viel Strom.

Warnung: Das Produkt ist ein absolutes Sicherheitsrisiko, dazu später mehr.Wir haben zwei der Futterautomaten für unsere Katzen bestellt.Zum einen ist das Gerät nicht zuverlässig, was die Abgabemenge des Futters angeht. Im Schnitt hat eine Portion, die über die App auswählbar ist, rund 6g Trockenfutter. Es weicht aber auf +- 2g pro Portion ab, was bei Tieren mit genauem Futterplan nicht zuverlässig funktioniert.Zum anderen ist es trotz einstellbarer Blockade für die Tiere möglich, an Futter aus dem Ausgabeschacht zu kommen.Das eigentlich gravierende Problem aber ist die mangelnde Isolierung der stromführenden Kabel. Unsere Katze hat beim Versuch, an Futter zu gelangen, das Gerät durch den halben Raum gestossen, hat dabei die eigentlich weit genug und sicher platzierte Wasserschale umgestossen und dieses Wasser erreichte das Stromkabel des Futterautomaten. Die jeweiligen Steckerenden waren davon nicht betroffen, nur ein Teil des Kabels selbst wurde feucht. Dennoch reichte das aus, um unserer Katze einen massiven elektrischen Schlag zu geben, weshalb sich unser Tier fasst eine halbe Minute wild zuckend über den Boden rollte, nicht mehr aufrichten konnte und danach völlig benommen war. Der rasche Besuch in der Tierklinik war dann notwendig, um sicherzugehen, dass sich aufgrund des Schlags weder Wasser in der Lunge bildet, noch das Gehirn des Tieres anschwillt.Die Kosten für die Tierklinik sollten wir eigentlich auf den Verkäufer bzw. chinesischen Hersteller dieses Produktes umlegen. Laut Verpackung ist das Gerät dank CE-Zeichen für Europa zugelassen, es darf daher solch eine Situation gar nicht entstehen - dennoch ist es aber passiert.Resultat: wir haben die Kosten der Tierklinik, unsere Katze hat es mit viel Glück überstanden - die beiden Futterautomaten aber haben wir umgehend über Amazon zurückgesendet.

Very usefull automatic feeder. The portions are about 7gram. It's great for vacations and still give your cat the regular feedings they are used to!
